I am testing the plugin and the bar is not collapsing after clicking toggle. I mean, the empty space remains there.

I tried putting css into the custom settings to no avail. I tried both inline and external style sheet syntaxes. So I therefore don’t know what that box is for and cannot find answers there or in your documentation. So, not finding any other offer in your system, I put my styling into my custom css. However, there’s a big layout shift, I believe due the style loading issue.

So where should I set my own styling? And does your Pro enable styling in itself, or might you think there is something else wrong ?

when click on image in gallery and it becomes bigger there is a thick wide border with arow keys to go to next , how can i get ride of this ?

I am using foo gallery free version.

Using chrome developer tools and on my iphone, I am seeing additional white space added when the screen-width hits 600px. The foobar-added margin-top is unchanged at that screen-size, but I cannot identify what is causing the issue. Ideally, the FooBar notification pushes down content to the top-menu is not obstructed. This works at wider page loads, but once we hit 600px, the notification covers the menu and additional white space is shown on top.

I have this issue on two sites and both are using the Astra theme.

I set it to show everywhere… and it is not showing.

What shall I do to fix it ?

I am trying to add the “Foobar” to my Divi site which uses a sticky header in the Divi Theme Builder. The foobar works great at the top of the site, but when I scroll down if the foobar is open is seems to scroll over top of the header until the header hits the top of the window then both items scroll down. You can see what I mean in the two screenshots below.

This is how it looks normally and I’d prefer the foobar didn’t scroll down the page at all and just stayed at the top: https://i.imgur.com/BzdzM5g.png

Currently any author can create a notification. Can you add option to limit this to administrator role only?

Hi, I’ve just become a PRO member and really liking Foobar – but I would really love more integration with email autoresponders. Personally Aweber would be good ?? Any idea when this will be implemented?

My FooBar notification added to my footer is never disappears even when the toggle is used. The notification disappears, but the bar doesn’t.

I have added some custom styles to increase the padding on the button and change the colour of the notification bar, but nothing affecting anything to do with visibility of the bar.

I hope someone can help.

Is it possible to set the banner to only show on a specific page.

I believe it’s good practice to seek ‘acceptance’ of the cookie message every now and again – not just one time/’forever’ .. so its +1 from me to find a way of re-displaying the Cookie message after xx days..

With that simple change, FooBar could be the simplest GDPR/cookie notification plug-in available!

1. can i use a shortcode for this
2. can i make this only work on AMP (mobile). I do not want this on desktop at all
3. can i have a unique message and a unique URL for each shortcode

Once a FooBar is dismissed, how long does it stay suppressed for the same person visiting the website?

We’d like for it to reappear after 30 days, or 60 days, or maybe 6 months; is there any way to configure that?

Hi all – I have the free version of FooBar…..I’d like to do some custom settings (as seen in the Notification Settings > Advanced > Custom Settings section where it says “Add any custom settings which will be merged with the existing settings. Only to be used by developers!” Are there examples of how this is done? I always google search for custom code and copy/paste/modify it to my needs, just need to see some examples of this first.

At the moment I have 3 notifications activated on the same time, but only visible for some users? Other users only sees 1? Why is that?

I set the settings to push the content down so no content will be hidden but as you see here: https://chros.com (choose danish language) the content is not being pushed at all. Can you please help asap?

Using the free version, the site already has a bottom announcement that displays correctly, but when I created a new Top announcement for the same sitey it only shows up in the WP editor & FooBar frontend preview. Top announcement will not display when visiting the site on Chrome or MS Edge browsers.

I’m trying to make sure this plugin will work for what we need. The cookie bar is good to go away after they accept, but I need the announcement bar to reappear at minimum when the announcement is changed.

I cannot get the bar to show up again after dismissing it…I tried clearing my cache and the website cache and cleared cookies. No matter what I do the announcement won’t come back. This is a problem if we change the announcement and visitors don’t see it because they dismissed the old announcement.

Is there a way to duplicate or copy a notification to another site such as in a multisite network configuration?

Only the Black and Light Color Schemes pass the WCAG AA and AAA Normal text contrast check at https://webaim.org.

Could you offer additional color schemes which will meet WCAG guidelines?

I have ShareThis plugin if makes any difference.
On the computer, the page loads fine with my settings for the foobar at the bottom. But when I preview it on mobile, it loads for a brief second then a black screen covers the page, if you try to scroll the page, you kinda see the webpage at the bottom.
Please advise

Why is my Foobar Pro not working?

Did anyone figure out how to hide the bar? the bottom space does not go away.. some js is added to enforce whitespace..

Foobar ignore the internalization of my site, set up with PolyLang.
I must write my notification in both languages (french/dutch)…

Multilanguage would be appreciated.

But I suppose this is a big job…

In Internet Explorer 11 (Windows 10), no text appears in the bar.
When I inspect the code, I see that the .fbr-message has a top offset of 39px : the block is too low, unther the bar.

If I change a css rule like display, the .fbr-message gets a top offset of 14px and the text appears in the bar : all is OK.

No problem with Firefox and Chrome.
