Seems the plugin developer has abandoned this plugin 4 years ago and it no longer works. Should be removed from the repository.

I hope someone can help me. I installed and actvated FooGallery Owl Carousel Template and FooGallery, but when i tried to create a new one, i don’t have the option of FooGallery Owl Carousel Template.
I love this plugin, so it will be great to known how to solve this problem,

I know this plugin hasn’t been updated in 2 years and someone has had the same issue for a little over 8 months. I have a client site using FooGallery and I also have it local on Desktop Server for troubleshooting. On the individual gallery, the Pagination is checked False, but the dots are still displaying. Neither site has a caching plugin installed. The DS version was working fine when I went to it and then when I checked the box to True, both the buttons for Prev/Next displayed along with the dots. When I turn this off to False – neither the buttons nor the dots go away. Both sites are running the latest version of WordPress and FooGallery.

Any chance there will be a fix for this?

Both my Foo Gallery and Owl Carousel plugins are active and up to date. But when I go to Foo Gallery > Extensions > Build Your Own, I do not see the Owl Carousel listed anywhere therefore I am unable to activate the extension. I’ve also looked under the other tabs and can not find it to activate. Please advise so I can use this extension! Thank you.

Even when I set Pagination in Advanced Settings to False, the dots won’t disappear.

Hi Matt.

Within the Advanced Settings there are options for altering the number of slides to be displayed within given breakpoints.

I’ve found that changing the values in these settings makes no difference to the number of slides visible at different screen widths.

I’m using the latest version of the foogallery, the owl-gallery carousel template and wordpress.

What could be happening here?

When I install Owl Carousel I have some formatting issues in the “Edit Gallery-Owl Settings” section. Some icons are missing and the informational text is covering some of the options so they can’t be selected.

The Theme is use is Pashmina and I have the Pro version of FooGallery (which works fine).

I’m trying to display the slider fullwidth but whatever i try – won’t work. The images are all 1920x450px and the silder is set to the same dimensions.

Any suggestions as to how to rectify this.

First, thanks for creating this plugin. I’ve used it many times on different sites, mostly for client/customer logos.

While I personally prefer carousels to rotate slowly, I have a client who wants the carousel to play faster. I tried modifying the custom_init filter to $custom_init = "autoplaySpeed: '300',"; but that doesn’t overwrite the speed from the plugin settings; it just appends it afterwards. Is there a filter somewhere that I can use to modify this? Or am I just setting up the custom init incorrectly?

In case it matters, the carousel is in a widget inserted with Beaver Builder.

PS When I post this those look like curly quotes in the code, but they aren’t.

When you go to the link, you will need to click on Homes, then either Birch or Willow to get to the gallery. This site is behind a coming soon page.

When I click the first image in the gallery, the lightbox pops up and I can go forward or backward just fine. But then, I click on a dot to another “page” and click an image in the slider and it just pops up – no lightbox and you have to hit the back button to get out of the enlarged image. This is happening on Chrome but not Firefox.

After installing and activating the plugin, Owl Carousel does not show up as an option for a template under Gallery Settings. What should I do to get this to appear?

How do I turn off the dot navigation? I see no such setting.
Setting Navigation to ‘false’ only hides the prev/next navigation.

I’ve used the Owl carousel on the homepage (and inner pages) of many Studio Press themes and it’s always worked beautifully. Last week, I added Owl to a Wellness Pro homepage and it worked fine. Today, I’m starting a new site, also with the Wellness Pro theme, and only the shortcode appears in the widgets. I’ve compared the settings on the two sites and they are identical. Any ideas? This project is critical to me and I’m at my wit’s end.

Logos appear for a glimpse of an eye in one long column and disappear second later (as css takes action I guess). I found something strange while examining the place it should appear: <div class="owl-stage" style="transform: translate3d(-14464px, 0px, 0px); transition: all 4s ease 0s; width: 28024px;"><div class="owl-item cloned" style="width: auto; margin-right: 10px;"><div class="foo-item">
This: -14464px bothers me the most, moreover logos return to the screen when I replace -14464px with 0, but again they are in one column… It looks like css is moving logos out of their box.
When I change gallery to another type, logos appear correctly.
Since I’m not that good at coding, could you please give your comment. Thanks in advance

My captions are appearing on the slide show pictures twice. (It’s not caption and title or caption and alt text etc.) Any ideas?

I love the Owl Carousel Plugin. On my own site it “turns around” without any problem.
But I want to use it on another site also and there the plugin doesn’t work. On this site I use the porto theme.
I check a lot of different placements without any change.
The whole system is up to date, wordpress version 4.7.3, php 7, all plugins are ok. I also try to delete the whole foo plugin incl. owl carousel and install it once again. No change.
Do you have any idea what I can do to run to run owl carousel to turn around?

A missing css notation in gallery-owl-carousel.css line 159 disables the very cool shadow-box option. The backend (admin area) works correctly.

Please add following:

Not working with FooBox – image opens in a separate tab. any ideas?

My request is to make the caption that appears on top of the image clickable, just like the image. So to put the caption code inside the link code. Not only would it allow the caption to be clickable (which makes sense from the user’s point of view), it would also allow for css hover animations (captions appearing on hover for example).

Could you add this feature to your plugin?

I succeeded in putting the caption inside the link by editing the plugin file (taking inspiration from the default gallery, which does this), but my changes will be lost when I update the plugin.

I am unable to get the owl carousel working with siteorigin pagebuilder editor but all works fine when standard editor is used also the foogallery button does not work with the siteorigin pagebuilder either.

I feel like this should be an easy thing to fix but for the life of me I’ve been unable to resolve this so far this morning. We’ve just installed an SSL certificate & have been converting a client’s site over to be secure & an unexpected side effect of this was that the Owl Carousel sliders we’d put in place vanished. They’re there, they just aren’t displaying. I’ve noticed that .owl-carousel is set by the plugin’s CSS to display: none; but overriding that only causes the entire array of images to display.

Help?

Love this carousel plugin that’s integrated with the Foo Gallery but unfortunately it doesn’t seems to work after last update. It will not show on the frontpage anymore. Actually it broke when updating the Carousel plugin, what happened? Thanks for any tip!

I am using the plugin to display a carousel on my home page. There are 4 images and it is set to display 1 item at a time with autoplay set to 9 seconds and no pause. The first image tranistions but then it does not move on to the other images. The transition will trigger again if I move to a different image but not on its own after the first. I have tried disabling the other plugins and removed any styling but this did not fix the problem. The issue appears across browsers. Any help would be appreciated. https://www.iq2000trivia.com/

I use an album “responsive album layout” (page “Galeries” of my site) who call many gallery “owl carousel” (Enable Auto-width,image size with no crop,real size image,no captions,carousel stage=1,loop and autoplay when there is more than 1 picture,pause=no ,2 second, no advanced options) , and the first time i see the gallery , images are on two lines, .. ??? when i return on the same gallery it is ok …I see this problem with Chrome and Safari, not Firefox, ..
Where is the problem ?
