I can’t complete the creation of a Thumbnail Gallery. I add a name and click “Next” which takes me to a screen with my shortcode and a “Publish” button but nothing else. I tried publishing and then editing but get the same essentially empty screen.
FYI, your shortcode seems to have a conflict with the CSS Plus shortcode. Initially when I tried to create a Thumbnail Gallery, the title field was pre-populated with “CSS” and the CSS Plus content box. I deactivated CSS Plus which stopped the above but I still faced the above issues.
Is there an alternative way to create a Thumbnail Gallery?
Thanks for your help.

Hi there,
This plugin looks fantastic, it looks like it designed for exactly what I am trying to achieve. However, it doesn’t seem to want to work on my site. The normal FooGallery plugin works but I can’t seem to get this to work. I guess I’m doing something wrong, but I’d be really grateful if you could maybe point me in the right direction please?
When I add the shortcode nothing shows on the page – it just appears blank.
My site is at https://goo.gl/qBOlQX and I’m using X-theme from Themeco with the paid for version of Foobox. I’ve tried disabling all over plugins but no joy I’m afraid.
Any help would be fantastic. Thank you.

Hello,
First, I’d like to say thank you for this awesome plug in. Ran into a compatibility issue with this plug in and Advanced Custom Fields 4.3.3. After the initial page to enter the gallery title, when I click next the page goes blank

If I have a page that calls multiple foothumbnails galleries, all of my thumbnails end up pointing to the first gallery listed on the page.
I’m using this method to bring up the galleries:
<img class=”size-thumbnail wp-image-616″ src=”https://www.forensicvideosolutions.com/wordpress2/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/compare-thumb1.jpg” alt=”” />
Photo/Video Comparisons
<div id=”foohiddengallery” style=”display: none;”>[foothumbnailgallery id=”553″]

So in that bunch of code, you can see that the gallery id being called up is 553. If I have another thumbnail (or even just text) linking to another gallery, it’ll still pull up gallery 553. Is there an issue with the jQuery code that tells the plugin to only link to the first gallery listed on any given page?
Thanks for any help!

It’s quite disappointing, because now I have to uninstall it and find an alternative.

Hi,
I have used Foothumbnails to try and create a gallery from a thumbnail, i can get the thumbnail and the title on the page but i can’t get the lightbox to open up from the thumbnail. I think there may be a lightbox interfering as i am trying to set this up as an alternative to the Hazel Theme lightbox but can’t see to turn this off to stop the clash.
Could you look at the page i am trying to put this into to see if you can advise me?
The page is https://www.smokeshowcreative.eu/portfolio-2/
Many thanks

i was just wondering if there was a way to create a hover state on the initial thumbnail that launches gallery. Just so users know they need to click on image?
Thanks so much!

Hi Matt,
This seems like a fantastic idea for a plugin. I really hope I can get it to work.
I’m having the same problem as one of the other members here, only I’m using FooBox Pro (Version 2.3.2.15). Only the first image in the gallery liked to the thumbnail shows up. You can check it out on https://flygraphics.com.au/examples/
I’ve tried deactivating plugins, etc, but I’m kind of stuck now. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Cheers mate, Tim.

Hi, the plugin works great, with the exception of getting messages output onto the pages that include a thumbnail gallery. I deactivated every developer/debug plugin but kept getting the messages.
After initially publishing a thumbnail gallery, I get a page with readout like this:

I can’t get past step 1 in the creation of the gallery. I enter the gallery title, click the Next button and the area where step 1 was is now blank.
I did some troubleshooting and found that when the Advanced Custom Fields plugin by Elliot Condon (https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/) is activated then this happens. This is a huge bummer because I use the Advanced Custom Fields plugin on all of my websites and would really like to use the FooThumbnail Gallery plugin as well.
Would you be able to make this plugin work when the Advanced Custom Fields plugin is being used?
Thanks!

I have FooThumbnails for Galleries, and FooBox Free Image Lightbox installed on a localhost development site.
When I create a gallery with Foothumnbnails and and place the short code on a page I see the Gallery thumbnail properly but when I click on it only one image from the gallery shows up. I have checked the the gallery via the “edit” button and on “Step two Insert your images” all the images are there. All the images in the gallery are set to “media file”.
I have tried deleting the gallery and recreating it but the effect is the same only the first image in the gallery shows up in the light box.
