If the translation of the Theme is 90%, then the Update translation button does not add a new translation /didn’t check the plugins/. This is not very convenient.

During the translation of this plugin I honestly got confused a bit…
I understand that this plugin EXPORTS the .po/.mo files from translate.wordpress.com BUT… to update the site, I honestly think I should say imported no..?

Since currently I get the expression that I EXPORTED my translations to translate.www.ads-software.com instead of the other way around…

And after all, you import the files into your site.

I cant find any “Update translation” under ‘Plugins’ in WordPress menu?
(Using WordPress 5.7.1 and PHP8, cant see any errors in console)

PLUGIN TRANSLATION
To download the translation files for a plugin:

Visit ‘Plugins’ in WordPress menu.
Click ‘Update translation’ under the name of the plugin for which you want to get the translation files.

As I was responding to a support question ( https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/translation-of-button/ ) I figured that this plugin currently probably is not able to generate the json files that would be needed for Javascript to consume some translations.

Is it even possible to generate them?

If not, then perhaps some disclaimer in the readme would be good to have.

While it’s pretty easy to understand how you can download translations for plugins, I don’t see how you can do the same thing for themes. Can you please guide me?

I tried to force translation from Advanced Classifieds and Directory Pro plugin, and got the following error messages:
