While testing the plugin, I wanted to display the Message field under the condition of having checked an option previously but it does not work; the Message field is always visible.
Also, conditions apparently don’t work for checkboxes. I wanted to make a Text field visible if an option was checked in the previous Checkbox field but without success

]]>I have a form where on submission it’s displaying the set error message. However, there are no errors in the submissio, andd it’s appearing correctly in the backend of WordPress. This is causing people to submit multiple times.
In the console I’m seeing:

]]>Hey guys, in love with in plugin already but I think there is a glitch when it comes to conditional logic (hide/show) for multiple choice fields.
As you can see below, its only shows the next field if the last option is selected. The advanced settings are set for the next field to be shown if the previous is not Empty.

I try to add a logical condition to my form.
First step :
“What do you wanna do ?” > 2 choices > A or B (it’s actually words not letter, I simplify)
Second step depend on the first choice (A or B) and show different fields.
So I added a logical condition for the second step, to show fields link to A for exemple.
Show this field only if: “what do you wanna do ?” = “A”
But, it just don’t work.
When I try the form, after clicking an answer, it finish the form without displaying fields linked to A.
Do you know if it’s a general issue, or maybe I do something wrong ?

For the keyboard navigation by letter/number for the SELECT type, thank you for incorporating it in this newest release.
However, this could be a bug. Please confirm if this could be fixed as soon as possible.
There is an issue when label is different from the actual field values. Let’s say the items are entered in the alphabetical order of the labels (not the differing/real input values):
Input Value=DZ (Label: Algeria)
Input Value=AU (Label: Australia)
Input Value=UK (Label: United Kingdom)
On pressing “A”, it should take to first item in the list “Algeria”, but it selects “Australia”. Pressing “D” jumps to “Algeria” (following its real input value, which a user can’t even see).
So we see that it is following in order of the values (hidden from user doing the selection) than by the actual labels.
Please confirm if this is how it was meant to be, or this is a bug?

]]>Please confirm if this is just us, or it is a known issue? After we create a SELECT field, and populate it with a lot of choices (for example, when creating a country dropdown), pressing a letter on a keyboard does not skip to the choices beginning with that letter.
This is how all SELECT fields in DOM have been working for more than a decade. Pressing a letter to skip to choices starting with that letter.
On mobile, Formality works fine because we just go to the option with a quick slide with our finger. But on desktop, it is a major hassle going down to find a choice (skipping one at a time) in a big list like a country selection dropdown.
Can something be done to fix this immediately?

One thing we do need by default for our customers is being able to sign up for a Mailpoet newsletter when submitting a form. Would it be possible to provide this feature sometime in the close future?

Hi.
The single-formality.php in root of the active theme doesn’t work.
The reason is the filename: single-formality-form.php – declarated in formality/public/class-formality-public.php on the line 118.
This should be changed in the templates/single.php in the info comment section so other people will get option to manipulate single view.
