Hi, wondering if this can work with the B2B-King plugin, because I can’t manage…
Thx for answer,
Sander
]]>Hi,
the plug-in looks great for English website but I see it is not compatible with WPML.
I not only mean the strings, I see that on checkout the “ask for freight” appears only on the English version of the website, while in any other language it doesn’t apperar at all
Hi, I have installed this but it does not seem to be working. I think it’s because we’re using the new method of gutenberg blocks to build the checkout page.
Would I be right in saying that your plugin does not work with this method?
]]>Hi,
I have downloaded the plugin. Set up “Request a Quote”. It shows a price of zero rather than the “request a quote” text underlined. Can you point me in the right direction so that the zero cost disappears please.
Thanks for your help. Looks like a gr8 plugin if i can get to the next step
Best
]]>There is currently a critical error when the Freight plugin is enabled and you go to create a new post.
It also displays for editing the cart and checkout pages when the plugin is enabled.
Think this started in the last few updates or so to the plugin.

WSW4 – Expiry date
Expiry date did allow me to continue with the quote after the expiry date had passed
]]>WSW3 – Cart mismatch
one a request has been accepted , you seem to be able to add further items to the cart and the quote still applies to all the cart
I see a message right at the top – I missed that info
this morning customer requested a quote – for PRODUCT A – admin entered a shipping price £45.
However meanwhile customer has in my case , added another item without delivery and those items show a delivery of £45
I get the message at the top of screen
Your cart is different from the items in the shipping quote. Recover cart items.
BUT if customer ignores that and Proceed to checkout , i can and it seems to then add the shipping price to the NEW item – which should stop the item being used and force a refresh
Not sure how often this problem would exist on our site , but possibly an issue, if customer sends off request and continues to browse and has a list of items
I went to test the expiry again using a different product – and it still had the shipping quote – BUT NO message this time – see these screen shot
and just now i was playing with some script wording to include the info about this quote and seemed to be able to add any item and the price remain for ALL the basket
i do get the mismatch message- if i use the LINK on the email to go back to the site ….
]]>WSW2 – Emails sent, Possible updates
2. Email to Admin – I use the email on woommerce Freight …. to send to the owner of company – One man business , I do site for free , so he sees a copy of the request and can then tell me the cost for delivery , which i update in the admin section
All the fields in those email – which you have already modified , BUT to also Include the Product info – Title and SKU , company Name
3. Email to customer , “shipping quote is ready” can that include the Item description , SKU ?
4. Email on completion – maybe if you are prepared to carry on with some of my requests (which I understand you may not) – an email on completion, although we would get an email for the Order anyway – just at the moment we dont see the product SKU, so cannot reconcile that the order has been placed with JUST the email to the owner , as i say this is not a major thing
]]>WSW1 – Populating fields on checkout
Various Fields are not re-populated once customer accepts the Shipping quote and goes to checkout page
I added an item and completed , BUT we only use the Billing address , as most of our customers seem to have the same shipping as the billing – so that option is OFF and defaults to Billing address and the customer has to select the “deliver to a different address” and tick that box – Now when admin approves the shipping request and goes to checkout page – The delivery address NO Longer has the Name Name , Last Name , Company (which i filled in) or Phone number populates as was orginally
This fields are NOT filled in on the shipping address on woocommerce checkout – and i suspect you are using the shipping address information
I tried filling in the Shipping address details , and on the shipping address details
These fields are NOT populated (which i did fill in before making the request a quote
ON Both Shipping and Billing
Name Name , Last Name , Company (which i filled in)
On Shipping the
NOTES field is also not filled in (as i originally entered)
ON Billing the phone number is NOT filled in (as i originally entered)

Hi
Running flatsome theme and I get the request link when changing to Norway for instance.
The address is fully submitted in the billing and shipping field but the form is not submitted when sending it.
I’ve disabled everything without woocommerce and your plugin but the problem still exist.
Can it be some interference with flatsome?
I do have the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode on the checkout page just like the video says.
Thanks!
I send the email details to various email accounts, it would be a NICE to have if the form sent to admin / nominated emails added , included ALL the details in the FORM ..
as said , i nice to have and then we use the email as a archive log ….
]]>Hi ,
I have added to the site & very impressed with the free plug-in – However, we do have shipping rates on some of out products all ready – NOT all but about 10% maybe – so was looking for a way to get people to ask for a quote , and this seems to work well, as once approved added to the basket automatically ALL great – BUT – its also added to any products with a shipping flat rate already applied , how can i disable it so it does not appear – IF I use the EXCLUDE flat rate – option , it seems to remove the Shipping Option (we have renamed as Delivery for UK market)
as can be seen , of added to the basket and on checkout page , if add a UK address/postcode – then we add a delivery cost , in this case £1 & a collection (Local Pickup) Option , on these items i need to exclude the quote request – so its not shown
THANKS
I dont quite understand the Method enable when ,and it displays all my flatrates I use – I would have thought maybe this is when its disabled when a flat rate is available – but does NOT seem to work like on my tests
if i use Exclude Shipping Methods – I show , flat rare, Free shipping & local pickup – so it excludes these methods when this is enabled – again not sure how to use that …….
]]>Hi,
I have installed the plugin, and looks fantastic, congratulations on this!
Our website is in Spanish and English. We use WPML to translate the contect, but I don’t see how can I translate the “Freight shipping quote texts”. Is there a way to have the texts translated into other languages?
Thanks + regads,
Enrique Viladomiu
]]>Hi,
I am loving this plugin in how easy it was to set up and style. I have run into a problem in the admin side where I receive the request but I can not edit the request with a price and send it back to the customer. I am getting an error. I am running composite products and product add-ons so not sure if the issue lies here. I am really hoping it is an easy fix because there is nothing else out the like this plugin.
Screenshot : https://snipboard.io/2UxdXp.jpg
Everything appears to work correctly on the front end – so far.
Hi, do you have any documentation? following your screenshots, it doesn’t seem to work.
]]>First of all, amazing plugin, thank you so much!
We are currently working on different types of shipping, weight based and conditionals on our cart. It all worked perfectly, the conditions will show the weight based shipping cost or the shipping quota request.
We did checked the quota request worked perfectly fine.
Later, we bought the Conditionals PRO version in order to fix some problems we were facing, and we realised our shipping quota is not working. We tried to disable the Conditional plugin and yet, the Shipping Quota is not appearing, no shipping available.
We have an old copy from our website where we didn’t had the PRO version on the Conditional shipping (last time we checked it all worked), again, not showing.
We already updated all the plugins Woocommerce related, included the last version on the Shipping Quota. Nothing yet.
WordPress version: 6.5.3.
PHP version: 8.1
Based on the compatibilities, it should work, it worked last month as we can recall. Is there any idea what could happend?
We checked out shop changes on this past month, we can’t recall any plugin update, added or anything, we just added more products on the shop.
Thank you
]]>Hi,
When I select another country and I click on request shipping quote it still shows the previous country selected and not the current one, on the checkout page.

]]>Hi Repon,
First off I would like to thank you for all the great support you’ve provided.
We are still running into an issue though.
Today, we see 500 errors occur when we visit the site.
On inspecting the error logs, I can only find one single error. The error is related to an undefined array key in the class-popup.php file.
Could you provide us with a fix, please?
[Thu May 02 09:49:13.680900 2024] [error] [pid 2845205] mod_proxy_fcgi.c(902): [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:0] AH01071: Got error ‘PHP message: PHP Warning: Undefined array key “” in /wp-content/plugins/freight-shipping-quote/inc/class-popup.php on line 139’
I’ve added an example of the PHP error. The error is occuring every few seconds when someone visits the site.
Thanks again,
Joel
Hi,
Is there is a way on a shipping proposal to be valid for only one day or week? This is because prices can change weekly?
Kind regards

]]>Hi,
We have a multilingual website and use polylang for this, but I can’t find anywhere where I can translate things from this plugin.
Can you maybe help?

]]>The new line for Cart mismatch reads:
“Cart mismatch. You might updated your cart. Please request your shipping quote again.”
“Cart mismatch. You might have updated your cart. Please request your shipping quote again.”
is better English.
On the Cart page, if the Customer presses the ‘Request Quote‘ button – they can enter their shipping address into the modal Form.
Admin then get the request and set the shipping cost.
Customer gets an email with a link to their Cart page. But when they take the link – there isn’t a shipping address filled-in!
There seem a possible lack of coordination between the form and the web page, and an opportunity to confuse the customer.
Can this be validated? Can it be improved?
]]>The email that is sent to Admin when Customer requests a Shipping quote is “A new shipping quote available – [Customer]“
We need to change it to:
“New Shipping Quote REQUESTED – [Customer]“
– as this wording is more a ‘call to action’ ( in the 100s of emails that admin receive each day ;).
We have modified the body of emails – by copying them to our child theme and making the mods there.
But the only reference we have found to changing the subject line is here:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/51214789/customizing-email-subject-with-dynamic-data-in-woocommerce
But this does not cover Freight Shipping Quote’s emails.
If possible, we would also like to set the email priority to ‘High’:
This page may hold the info.:
https://coderomeos.org/php-mail-function-for-urgent-and-high-priority
re:
"X-Priority: 1\n". //headers for priority
"Priority: Urgent\n". //headers for priority
"Importance: high"; //set importance
but we do not know where to include this in the hook.
]]>Hello,
I get following error after I want to confirm the order on the checkout page after shipping quotation:
“Mismatch shipping cost. Your shipping costs should be XX Euro. Please refresh and try again later.
I kindly ask you to help.
Kind regards
Andrian
I installed the plugin and I’ve made all the configuration necessary. The plugin is showing the “Shipping quote” method, but it doesn’t display a link to request a quote.
I’m using Bricks theme, but I didn’t make any changes. I’m using the WooCommerce native template to teste the plugin.
When we installed on the staging site – everything worked well.
We have just installed on the live site – and (from the visitor’s side) it all looks fine. But Requests for Shipping Quotes are not coming through to ‘Shipping Quotes‘ in the Admin page.
What could we have wrong/missed??
PS. I’ve tried in ‘TroubleShooting’ mode, with all plugins except woo & Shipping Quotes – same issue.
]]>We are trying to make the process & wording as good as possible. The concern is that customers may Pay at Checkout – even though they have chosen “Request a Shipping Quote”.
We tried your ‘Hide payment gateways when this shipping method active‘ option, but at Checkout we then get the error message “No payment method provided.”
Your help/guidance please.
]]>a) Can the text below be changed/customized?
“Your request has been approved. If you do not see shipping cost, please click on the “Refresh now” link.
Refresh now“
In English, it might be better to say “Your quote has been prepared…”,
as it’s up to the customer to “review”, “approve” and then place the Order.
b) Can the text on the mails be customized/changed.
c) On the request there an ‘Additional info…” field for the customer to enter, and pass to the site-admin.
Could there be a text field alongside the ‘Shipping cost’ for the site-admin to pass to the Order (and thus the customer) explaining the courier &/or speed of the quoted delivery.
Thanks
Hi Respon, I’ve just installed your (hopefully excellent) plugin, but it doesn’t display anything on the Cart page (which is where I expected it to). a) Is there a Demo site where I can see it working?
b) Do the products have to belong to a category to invoke it? Ah! I now see that it’s driven by adding a Shipping Method (“Request a shipping Quote”). Perhaps you could mention this is the installation/setup text.
c) Installation adds three ‘Email Notifications’, two of which have the ‘Recipient (s)’ set to the site default. But I can’t find how to change the recipient. Is there a way to change it?
Thanks.
