Is it normal for posts in the blocked category not to appear in the recent posts widgets across all pages on the website?
Thanks
]]>In FrontPageCats::bad_post_type() the code checks that the query contains posts and only posts. I opted to include events (using The Event Calendar plugin) in my main loop, and this plugin stopped working. When I edit bad_post_type() so that it checks that posts are included, but no longer rejects a query that contains additional post types, it works again. Is there a reason that the plugin is limited to affecting only one post type?

]]>Hi everyone!
I would like some help with the issue I’ve been having with your plugin.
I tried to hide some categories using your plugin but when I selected the categories which I wanted to exclude from the topbar nothing happened.
Does that have anything to do with the fact that I’m using WP 5.8.3. or is it something entirely other than that?

My technology page and lol page does not load more than 10 posts, there is a loading icon below the posts but it just loads indefinitely. ]]>Hi! This plugin is excellent, my problem is that it doesn’t work when viewed in mobile ??
is there any configuration I need to do?
The plugin works perfect, but when users visit the website when they are logged in the filtering on the front page doesn’t work. All posts are shown on the homepage.
Any idea what the problem could be?
]]>Yes, the title says it all I think. The whole row with the meny items disappeared when I updated. Deactivated the plugin and it′s back.
Can I find the earlier version somewhere?
Thanks,

I just updated the plugin, and posts from categories other than the one I have selected are appearing on the front page of the site. The plugin settings seem accurate–when I go to Customize, include is selected and the category Event is selected. When I go to the website, posts from Event and Past Events are appearing (past events are the ones from Jan and Feb, which were not appearing before the update).
I tried clearing the cache and I tried another browser. No difference. I disabled all other plugins. Still not working. I’m running WordPress 5.0.3 with the Simply Read theme. I switched to the WordPress 2018 theme. Still not working.
]]>I want to show special posts on a home page, so I’ve assigned those to a special category.
Disabled all other categories.
Now home page is empty.
Looks like you EXCLUDE categories by the list, rather then include the ones are enabled.
I have some posts marked Category A and Category B at the same time.
And Category B would not be displayed in the front page by your plugin.
But all these posts disappeard.
How to display these posts marked Category A too with Category B not displaying?
Meaning your plugin conditon is not “A or B“, but take effect only in ” A and B”.
How could I modify it to fullfui my this demand?
Thank you very much!
installation not clear. great waste of time!
]]>When you add a new category it is automatically chosen and shown on homepage. Would be better if this happens only when the USER chooses to do so.

]]>I am having the same problem as this post. I only selected Cateory1A to appear, and I see Category 1A and the Uncatagorized posts. Theme is Twenty Fifteen. And I don’t know if this is by design, but if a post belongs to more than one category, and one of those categories matches but the others do not, then the post does not appear. For example, I have a post that belongs to Category 1A, Category4A, and Category4B, but it doesn’t show up on the home page, probably because it also belongs to Category4A & Category4B. I think the opposite should be the case, that is, if the post has one of the matching categories, it should get posted (i.e., use an OR condition instead of an AND one). Maybe that can be an option.
I did test the case where I selected Category1A, Category4A, and Category4B, and the post which contained all categories showed up, as well as the posts which belonged to one of the three categories, so that’s OK. However, I still got the Uncategorized posts showing up.
]]>hello, I use WP 4.9.1 and the theme auttomatic Rebalance: fonrt page category not work, an update is it planned with this version of wordpress?
Thank you for your job
I want to feature on the front page posts belonging to category A.
I have a few posts that belong at the same time to category A and B. They will not show unless I add category B to the front page. Which in turn would make the front page show posts from category B, which I don’t want.
In other words, is there a way to tell the plugin to fetch all articles from category A, regardless of wether or not they also belong to other categories, rather than fetching articles that are exclusively category A?
Thank you.
]]>Hi folks,
I want to have a certain category of post not show up with the others, but on a different page instead. So amigausers.ie/listen is where posts show up currently, but I’d like to have posts with category ‘games’ appear only under amigausers.ie/games.
Can this plugin do this?

I do not know what I would do without this plugin, but when I filter posts to post in say the “news” category, the “uncategorized” category required by WP also show up on the Front Page. I am hoping an upcoming update could address this. Thanks!

Can you please help me to find “Front Page Categories menu”?
I am able to find Customize (under Appearance) but there is no “Front Page Categories menu”.
Does is have to do with the type of theme I am using?
