Maybe i sound weird, but i m asking anyway. Why is this plugin not updated in last 4 years. I mean 4 years is a lot. It works perfectly and it is very useful since many themes are messed up.
But maybe i don’t know better, is there some kind of alternative? Maybe creator wants to update the plugin so we don’t see that news that it is not updated for 4 years.
]]>I am using the TinyForge theme for my self-hosted WP blog. Not sure if that matters.
My issue is on my webpage (www.patrickgunville.com) I have it to show a number of characters before cutting off the text. Except the post just ends abruptly, and it looks very incomplete.
I would prefer if I could alter it so each post on my frontpage ends in a ‘…’ automatically, of preferably a ‘(…)’.
That would fix all my problems. Thanks for your help!

]]>thanks to frontpage manager plugin I was able to set up site with 4 menu items (4 buttons). All of them are categories and consists of posts, published in those categories.
What I would like to achieve: when I open my site, the first menu button, (first category) must be active. Now I get correct posts to appear under first category, except menu button itself is not active, so people may be confused, which content is active.
How to do that? Where should I look?

]]>I’m able to get the post limitations to work, but I still can’t seem to stop any new posts from showing up on the homepage. I created a homepage category so I could select homepage posts on a case by case basis, but it seems like the WP Reading settings are overriding the plugin. Thoughts?

]]>I’ve got events calendar pro set up on a website. It sets up a separate section to deal with events to display on the calendar.
When I use the front page manager, the events list shows up blank. (Remove/deactivate the manager, and they show up)
It’s doing this, i think, because the ECP uses a separate set of tags from the regular posts. And these tags don’t show up on the manager’s list of categories to enable or display on the front page.
I’d rather it not affect my ECP posts at all, so is there a way I can make the manager just ignore it?
