Super-nice plugin! True fullscreen view — no toolbars, just a tasteful row of tiny thumbnails of upcoming images at the bottom of the fullscreen. Fullscreen Galleria is the ONLY plugin I’ve found which allows me to make a true fullscreen carousel view and does NOT involve the generation of shortcodes which have to be copied into the page. With Fullscreen Galleria it is easy to edit the gallery. I’m using Fullscreen Galleria with another plugin which generates a mosaic gallery view and a smaller carousel view which allows viewer comments. I don’t think Fullscreen Galleria by itself will allow user comments or generate a mosaic or other type of initial gallery page. Fullscreen Galleria seems to work well with the other plugin — so now I have it all — true full screen, nice mosaic initial page, and the ability to add viewer comments. I happen to be using the plugin Catch Gallery to make the mosaic and comment-friendly views, but there are many similar plugins. Catch Gallery is apparently pretty new — but so far so good. PS — I’ve deactivated Jetpack because it might have been a little glitchy with Fullscreen Galleria and I think it has a lot of stuff I don’t need.

I use this plugin on a photography portfolio site and it works great. I like how you can navigate through the photos by clicking on the thumbnails which appear along the bottom of the lightbox. This is great when there are many photos and clicking through them all one at a time would be inconvenient.

I was fiddling around with Jetpack image carousel and tiled galleries only to find frustration.
This plugin does way better!
The screenspace get’s surely a lot better used than in JP’s Carousel and you can define what you want extra or completely clean and clever.
The random photobox is so original and smart loading as well. At first I missed the original ratio’s of my images, but all squared and tiled looks very tight. I just keep on refreshing and smiling ??

[EDIT] After 2 weeks and various concerns after checking out FS galleria on mobile devices and realizing with Google analytics that 25% of my visitors are on mobile devices I have to give up this plugin… it just doesn’t work on Mobile.

Great gallery plugin, makes a good full-screen gallery with thumbnails below.. works well on normal size screens, BUT would really love to see this “RESPONSIVE” for Iphones and other small screens.. that is the future. Thanks for your good work!

Great plugin for photographic galleries. Allows to take advantage of the whole screen, taking only the necessary, minimal space for navigation and thumbnails. User friendly and easy to use.

With little adjustments it is possible to make great categorized menus for galleries, using the [fsg_link] shortcode on images – check out https://jakzobrazka.pl galleries for examples.

Constant development and author’s support are also a great advantage.

This Plugin is exactly what should happen when you click an image in a blogpost – get the image in the face of the user. And geolocation via Openstreetmap – awesome! I love it!

Plugin author checks the support forum frequently and tries to solve the problems ASAP. He personally looked at a couple of problems for my site! That’s a very rare thing these days.
