FunCaptcha isn’t showing on new registrations making it impossible to register. The only thing that displays are the words:

I just added a script to track and direct my 404s and redirects. I have redirects five times already for this URL

So … how do I fix this? I either need a URL to redirect it to or a fix for the current URL.

]]>For about 10 hours yesterday night, until 30 minutes ago; there was some kind of “mystery outage” that affected the plugin. The symptom was that instead of the usual “please verify…” PNG image being displayed, there was a white text box with an HTML button that said “Verify.”
I know this problem was widespread, because it not only affected my site, but the funcaptcha.co site as well.
Could the developers please elaborate on the nature of this issue? I wasted many hours thinking there was some kind of theme, CSS or plugin issue; before realizing it affected funcaptcha.co as well.
Specifically, I would like to know what caused the problem, and if there is some kind of safety mechanism, in case the plugin is totally unable to contact the funcaptcha server.

]]>hello. i just installed this to help eliminate spammers, it’s a fun little plug-in, but unfortunately you don’t need to even do the puzzles to register. i am using this on my bbpress forum registration page only. i am using it in conjunction with another captcha but that one gives an error if left blank and won’t let you proceed without filling it out, but even if that one is deactivated and only this captcha is used i can bypass it completely
]]>I installed FunCaptcha version 0.3.16 yesterday and it worked fine.
Today, I went to my blog to find a later version of FunCaptcha was available so I allowed the automatic upgrade. Afterward I was confronted by a blank screen – there was just no code at all.
I solved the problem by deleting the wp-content/plugins/funcaptcha/ directory. Once I’d got my blog back I tried to upgrade manually – with the same result.
So now I’m using “Captcha” by BestWebSoft instead.

I installed the newest update, version 0.3.17, and it crashed my site. I had to restore my site from the last backup. Other than this, it’s been a great plugin. I use it to stop spam registrations.
