I’ve installed Future and tried the menu code suggested in the FAQ, but it doesn’t appear to be working. Head to
https://www.jeromegunhillbid.org/
And select “Upcoming Events” under “News & Events” — that directs to:
https://jeromegunhillbid.org/?cat=5&future=true
Yet the future post in category 5 does not appear there, and does appear in:
https://jeromegunhillbid.org/?cat=5&future=false
Any suggestions?
]]>Hi,
I’m running version v1.2.4 of this plugin and I don’t see the ‘Show Posts’ radio button options as shown on the screen shots plugin page ie: Display only past posts / Display only future posts / etc…
However, I do get the ‘Include Future Posts?’ checkbox for the Calendar and this appears to work ok.
However, we really want to show future posts, under one of our menu pages.
Can anyone confirm if this is working ok with wp4.1.1.
Thanks,
DB
Hi, I need some help. I have my future posts online, shown on the category, calendar widget, everywhere, works just fine. But there’s a problem. I need the post to be shown from the oldest to newest. By default it is otherwise. Help?
]]>Greetings,
First off, great plugin! Seems well coded and easy to use.
Im curious to know if its possible to use the plugin to list only future posts (actual post name with link to post) in a widgetized sidebar area? Im using the standard WP Recent Posts widget to list past posts, and I’d like display our future posts in a similar fashion. (not in the calendar format)
Thank you!
Nate
]]>Hello, great plugin!
Is this plugin supposed to also work on post archive pages? Currently, no posts that are scheduled for future publishing display on the category archive pages with Future activated.
Regards,
Frank
The plugin works fine, but I would like them to be ordered Ascending instead of Descending, so the category page shows the post that is closest to today at the top, and posts further in the future underneath.
Can this be added as an option, or perhaps some help on how I can do this?
Hi,
the moment I activate the “Future” plugin the pagination is broken. The links of the page-numbers [1] [2] [3] … look like this:
https://www.dav-duesseldorf.de/page/2www.dav-duesseldorf.de/page/2/?future=
It stops when I comment out line 417:
add_filter('paginate_links','futurems_paginate_links');
Parameters to function futurems_paginate_links in line 406:
$link: string(47) "https://wordpresstest.dav-duesseldorf.de/page/1/"
$future: NULL
Returns:
$link: string(94) "https://wordpresstest.dav-duesseldorf.de/page/1wordpresstest.dav-duesseldorf.de/page/1/?future="
Please help ??
Best regards,
Sebastian

]]>Hey,
I’m getting a strange issue, the drag and drop functionality of the Menus page on my WP 4.0 install is screwed up if I have this plugin activated. Otherwise the plugin works fine.
]]>Hi,
I am trying to use the plugin to show a event calendar as a widget on my sidebar.
I notice that when I hover with the mouse on a highlighted day in the calendar the title of the event is repeated 5 times.
You can see the behavior here: https://www.babylonbus.org/wordpress/2014/09/?cat=2&future=all if you hover on september 12th for example.
Can you help me in fixing the issue?
Best,
Fabio
Hello!
What a beutifull plugin you have!! Thank you.
Are you interested to develope this plugin to work with Retro Themes “recent posts” widget?
See, it is on bottom left footer on this site:
https://www.catchline.fi/Leevi2014/
Those nice “stamp” looking numbers!
The problem is that it does not show future posts. On the middle footer there is your “Calendar Widget” including future posts. I would love to have this content but on the Retro themes “stamp” looking numbers!
I can pay you for this customation ??

Any ideas?

]]>Appreciate the update. It’s closer now. It’s showing the bolded days with posts now, however when you look at the link for a day it’s returning a link for each day on the Calendar Widget with ‘&future=all’ appended to the link, example: (https://www.ralawson.com/blog/2012/04/30/&future=all) instead of (https://www.ralawson.com/blog/2012/04/30/).
This one is probably going to be tougher to nail down.
Either activating or deactivating plug-in removes the widget from the widget area. Once activated I added the calendar widget back to the widget area. Either with or without a title and selecting all categories and selecting the include future posts checkbox and saving the widget the calendar does not display any posts and does not display the monthly directional arrows. Effectively making the widget show the month name and the days of the month. Once I deactivated the plug-in and moved the calendar back to the widget area everything returned to normal.
The theme is Twenty Ten Version 1.5.
I hope you have a quick fix, as I like the idea of showing future posts for a daily historical calendar in the widget.
