Hello all!
I am aware of the warning for non-English installation using WordPress 6.7. This is triggered although the language call does occur at the correct point of the WordPress loading process.
PHP Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the
g-business-reviews-rating
domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the
init
action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in ./wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114
As soon as there’s a well-documented fix, I will apply this – or, perhaps, WordPress resolves this in version 6.7.1.

For some reason, my reviews do not get imported. Everything’s set up as described, nevertheless, the tool is not importing more reviews, but somehow stuck with eight. I have plenty of reviews that should be imported based on the settings. Clearing cache also did not help. What can I do?
I’m using this shortcode and hoping to disable the external links, author name and also the link on xx Reviews at the top.

Am I missing something?
I’ve attempted to set up my API as instructed, but there is no way of telling the API to restrict it to the Places API. There is no such thing as “Places API” in the dropdown where you indicate.
Instead I have several BigQuery options, various Cloud Options and Service Management and Service Usage. So I have just set it up with no restriction.
I have added the Places ID and the API key to the plugin.
But now I am getting the following message
{ “error_message”: “This API project is not authorized to use this API.”, “html_attributions”: [], “status”: “REQUEST_DENIED” }
The IP address added is exactly the one you told me to add. The API key is obviously correct too. So I don’t understand what the problem is here, and I can’t attach screen shots to illustrate anything.
The stars are not showing on this new page I created:
https://parkandhills.com.au/home-new/
They are showing on the original homepage which I created a couple of years ago:
https://parkandhills.com.au/
I did have to add this Custom CSS which worked on the home page but is not working on the new page:
.google-business-reviews-rating.badge.tiny.no.outline {
color: #000000;
}
.gmbrr.forest .rating .star {
color: #009355;
}
It would be great if we could change the order of elements, for example to achieve this layout:
https://snipboard.io/SWFaxT.jpg
This could be done with action hooks or an overridable template for the rating or its sub-elements.
For now I’ve resorted to using CSS to absolutely position the rating below the avatar but it’s not ideal as if someone had a long name it could wrap and break the layout.

Hi,
the plugin is detecting wrong IP of our website and we still getting error Error: Your Google API Key is not valid for this request and permission is denied. Please check your Google API Key. (IP is different from ping result for example). We added restrictions for your detected IP and real IP and still errir.
We reseted plugin on advanced tab too. What could be wrong? In google api – key is green and correctly restricted. I am lost. Thank you
Hey I found a bug and hope this is helpful. When clicking on the number count of reviews it takes me to a page in London and not the Google Business Profile it’s linked to. The number is correct tho. Here’s the shortcode: [reviews_rating place_id=”ChIJaxhvijEFdkgRPtwPZgzI4w8″ animate=”no” review_text=”no”]

google_business_reviews_rating_retrieval – 129kb

Thank you for a great plugin.
I’ve got a Carousel layout on the home page. Is it possible to then have a full tile view of every review on another page, is this possible?
Cheers

Hello,
I’m going overboard again, but I just have one question, maybe several, about structured data… I cheked the field for structured data in the plugin and it seems to be Ok but my adress fields are missing when i check with Google tool for structured Data.
I don’t really know how all of this is working. I use Yoast SEO for my structured data but as there is not so much informations, i put a script in my theme header juste before

I don’t know if it is the googd way to do it because when i go to the search console, i see only the stuctured data from Yoast SEO… i don’t see the structured data i put in my header and i don’t see the structured data from your reviews plugin.
Can i use Yoast, my script and your plugin for the structured data? It’s not too much?
Does it take time to appears in the search console?
Thanks a lot for your answer!!
Best regards,
Pierre

Hello,
Is it a way to translate only the word “reviews” after the number of reviews?
I use this great plugin on an other site multinlangual and i used loco translate but for only one word , i would prefer to do something simple…
I tried review_word=”avis” in the short code but it doesn’t work.
Thank for helping!

How do I display the most recent reviews first?
I didn’t find it…

Hi Noah
Please could you tell me exactly where I have to go to find the shortcodes documentation? It does not appear in Dashboard–> Settings–> Reviews and Rating – Google Reviews. I am specifically looking for the shortcode parameters (if any) to control the appearance of the “powered by Google” element.
Thanks
