I was looking for other plugins to handle cookie management for a small website. And this plugin has all it needs: it greates a cusotmizable pop-up, it handles the according scripts to deny / allow tracking and it even integrates google analytics without having to add script manually. And the biggest plus: it is for free.
What comes a little short is the variety of layouts and positions. And because I don’t like the hovering button, I miss an alternative way to show the cookie pop-up again.

After installing the pluginn, the function of the the video light box did not work anymore. It forward the rewuest to the embbed videoplattform (youtube, vimeo…)

I had earlier expressed criticism about this plugin. First via their support, which partly fell on deaf ears. After that, I voiced my critique here and was heard.
I want to be fair and revise my rating after the developers have removed ads from the dashboard, as described below. Since everything else works really well, this is one of the best GDPR-Plugins out there. You should give it a try, if you are using Google Analytics.
Imagine this: One of your editors is about to export the newest gravity forms entries (so a totally different plugin) and suddenly has a huge advertisement banner displayed for Bajorat media (the developer behind this plugin), right on top of the backend display, outside any settings page of this particular plugin.
And the first thing your editor thinks: This shouldn’t be there. Did we get hacked? And now imagine how the rest of the day goes for the dev who gets a call right after.
Backend ads like that are very big no go! Will have to replace this plugin.

Thx for this plug-in. Searched the last couple of hours for something that would suit my set-up and this plug-in is perfect. It blocks the cookies till the user decides, which not all plug-ins do, even if they claim so.

This plugin is awesome.
Ive searched for different solutions and this is the only good free one i found.
The support is great and you can add additional tracking cookies like the FB pixel (take a look at the forum for that)

If you don’t edit the Policy-Link domain fast to your own domain, google will crawl the default domain “cookiesandyou#com” and grant that as a backlink from thousands?! pages.
And google maybe see, that you link to a not relevant content/website which could be a minimal ranking issue.
btw: Google is really fast, in G-Webmaster i see many pages with an index error which i edited with the WordPress customize option for maybe 30seconds.
But yeah the plugin is good!

Ein ausgezeichnetes Plugin ohne Wenn und Aber, das endlich mal Google Analytics und den Cookiebanner vereint. ?? Zumal es das erste Plugin dieser Art ist, dass auch DNT berücksichtigt.
Hab es schon viele Male weiter empfohlen!

Despite the plugin shows in English, there is no explanation in English and some areas are in German. Due to the language barrier and lack of info in a language I could understand, I ended up having to skip. I still gave it 5 stars because it does look very well done and functional. Hopefully a version for US/UK that could be used by sites other than .de ones (or by German speaking users) will be available in the near future. Thanks for what it looks like a nice plugin to handle cookies for google analytics opt out/in.

W?re vielleicht ein gutes Plugin, wenn es sich auf seine eigentlich Aufgabe konzentrieren würde. Leider viel zu viele Funktionen, die sich auch nicht zuverl?ssig abschalten lassen. Erst hatte Outbound Linktracking einen Fehler verursacht, obwohl dieses gar nicht eingeschaltet war. Nun wird diverser Inline Code, eine CSS Datei + JS Datei für die Cookie Nachricht geladen, obwohl diese abgeschaltet ist.
