I was wondering if you could help me with a display issue I am having with the score board. For some reason all the dates are in a list to the right of the scoreboards. You can view the page here: https://www.evangelfamily.org/athletic-scores/
I have entered all the teams and games to the schedule and the schedule displays just fine. You can view it here: https://www.evangelfamily.org/volleyball/
And here is the shortcode I am using:
[mstw_scoreboard sb=volleyball-varsity format=gallery]
The page is just a blank default template page. Any suggestions?
Carl
I’ve been trying to figure this out for hours to no avail. I’ve set up the schedule, but I have no idea where the shortcode is supposed to go, which shortcode to use, and I’ve looked at all of the documentation listed. I’m not the most tech savvy, but if you tell me specifically how to set this up, I should be fine. Thanks.

Thanks!
Hello,
I am having a hard time distinguishing what goes where!
I have an Athletic league with multiple teams (schools) and multiple sports. For example, in the Fall Season, all schools participate in volleyball and soccer, in winter basketball etc. Does that mean I have to create a schedule for the school name and sport? sport? or just school? Sorry I am a bit confused on how to link everything together. I have read through the documentation but my situation is a bit unique so it is hard to figure out.
Thanks

Hello,
Installed this amazing plugin last night. The only problem I have right now is the text is too close to the border, making it look a bit bad:

How could I fix this? I also noticed the text is a little bit blurry, not sure, if it’s just on my computer or not.
Hi, I have a shortcode showing the next upcoming game:
[mstw_gs_table sched=varsity first_dtg=now games_to_show=1 show_media=0]
I’m noticing that, for ex., today’s game is 3:30pm, however when I checked the website at 1:00pm, it was already showing the game the next day, even though today’s game didn’t happen yet.
The time in WP settings is the correct time zone. Is there something I’m missing? (ptgirlstennis.org)
By the way, this is a great plugin.
Thanks

I am using the following shortcode:
[ mstw_gs_table sched=”hayden2014,highlandpark2014,manhattan2014,rossville2014″ first_dtg=”now” games_to_show=4 show_location=0 show_time=1 ]
If you inspect the table, you’ll see that the CSS style used for each table row is the slug for the first team. Shouldn’t it use the slug for the correct team?
If I create a single schedule called “High School Football” with all of the local games from all of the local high schools, can I display the schedule for an individual team?
[ mstw_gs_table team=”9″ ]
Otherwise, it appears I have to enter each team’s schedule separately and update all of the schedules independently with game results. So if there are 10 teams (5 games) I have to update each game result at least twice (once for each time).
Can you add support for Pre-Season designation?

I am using your plugin to put local NFL, NCAA and High School game schedules on our web site.
The problem is that I can’t specify a category/taxonomy/leauge for each team. So I’ve got a couple hundred teams in the drop down I have to search through when creating a schedule.
Can you add a League specification to your plugin so that I can more easily/quickly find teams when creating games?
Hi out there,
I’ve added page caching (using the W3 Total Cache plugin) and I’ve noticed that the Game Schedules entries (be it slider, table or widgets) get “sticky” and are not showing the latest information. If I refresh the page, they update OK. Obviously it’s a caching problem – if I’m logged in to the site they update fine because caching is disabled for logged in users.
I realize this is not really a question about the Game Schedules plugin, but maybe some other user has had similar problems with this combination and could enlighten me…

I’m getting a lot of errors in our logs related to this plugin – also noticing in the dashboard if I go to Appearance > Widgets the page stops loading and hangs in the middle of the “available widgets” — the right hand column homepage widgets, sidebar widgets, etc. doesn’t appear at all. When I deactivate the plugin the widgets page works again. Here’s a partially redacted snipped from the logs.
Any ideas? Is it just me?

Hello,
I downloaded the game schedule 4.1, game location, and mstw teams. I created a test schedule and I can’t seem to see the schedule. When I click on preview of the site , it shows an empty page. Attached is the shortlink
Thanks for your Help.
Regards,
Layer03
When the season ended for hockey the message said No scheduled games found for 1. I went into mstw-game-schedule.php in the plugins folder and changed the text on line 698 to $output = '
' . __( 'No scheduled games found.', 'mstw-loc-domain' ) . '
';
This fixed my problem, however about an hour later when I went to check it had reverted to the old behavior. I’m not sure how since the code is still changed but nonetheless it’s saying No scheduled games found for 1 again.
Any idea why that would be?
I was just wondering if there is any way to reverse the chronology of the games displayed in the schedule table. Thanks!
Hi there, I’m not sure if I’m doing anything wrong but is the Game Schedule widget not meant to show the time of the games?
I want to display the next few fixtures and although it has the Date and Opponent column, it does not have the Time one.

Many thanks
By the way, a fantastic plugin!
Hi Mark,
I upgraded the plugin to use the “last games” shortcode setting that was added in this version (great improvement). Now I face an issue with the schedule IDs.
In the previous version, the user-defined ID was used to identify the different team schedules. One example:
Game Schedule = Tossball 2010
Unique Schedule ID = tb_2010
I used to have to type in tb_2010
for each game, and use this to populate the sliders, tables, etc. With version 4.1, I now have a pulldown instead (which is a good enhancement) that uses the “Game Schedule” list. However, the Schedule ID stored with the Game entry is now tossball-2010
(i.e. the schedule name slug) which means that a new Schedule ID is generated. With some 300+ games in my database I’m not too keen on editing all of them…

I love this plug in as it helps be keep track of the different teams my kids play on. However, I have noticed that the Default Calendar in WordPress breaks. You can take a look at https://sports.jmtrj.org.
I only have this plugin activated and the theme is Twenty Thirteen.
I have tried this on multiple themes and the calendar is always the same. I can provide you the login and password if you need it.
Thanks.
Hey there
it would be really great, if you could include the possibility to put one’s own mstw-game-schedule.php and css file in one’s own theme folder and the plugin would check there first, and use it’s own one as a fallback. WooCommerce does that pretty nicely (https://docs.woothemes.com/document/template-structure/)
like this, I wouldn’t be scared to destroy all my customised stuff every time when updating your plugins.
cheers
Mark
Great plugin.
https://goroughriders.wpprod.yc.edu/ – Please note in the right sidebar there is a “Roughrider Scoreboard – Final Scores and Results”
There are 4 results (I used shortcode to control how many to show). But I’d like to show the last four most recent scores / results … right now by default it’s showing the 1st 4 results.
How could I make the list start with the most recent date — or the last or most recent dates…

Final Scores and Results

[mstw_gs_table sched=’2014-volleyball-schedule,2014-baseball-schedule,2014-softball-schedule,2014-soccer-schedule’ show_media=0 show_location=0 opponent_label=’Final Results’ last_dtg=’now’ time_label=’ ‘ table_date_format=’M j’ games_to_show=4 date_label=’ ‘]

Hi Mark!
Great tool, using it for my team’s website.
I do however get a warning message:
“Warning: array_merge(): Argument #1 is not an array in /hsphere/local/home/masterfa/masterfade.com/domers/wp-content/plugins/game-schedules/mstw-game-schedule.php on line 428 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /hsphere/local/home/masterfa/masterfade.com/domers/wp-content/plugins/game-schedules/mstw-game-schedule.php on line 431”
The schedule shows and it’s looking good but would like to remove the warning message. I checked my wp-config.php and the debug is set to false. How can I remove the warning message?
Thanks, ?ivind
