]]>The Google AMP plugin for WordPress gives me the following notice:
“The AMP plugin performs at its best when persistent object cache is enabled.”
The the provided help page gives me a list of cache plugins that provide support for Persistent Caching. Gator isn’t listed.

So my question is, is this something I should worry about if I want to use AMP on my website, or is this a notice I can ignore? Or, does Gator in fact have a way to enable a persistent cache.
I don’t want to leave Gator Cache, I can’t believe the difference I’ve been able to make on my site with it, but I’ve been wanting to implement AMP since it looks like it’s here to stay. Thanks for your reply.

i have now one question : have you left the Object cache capacity ?
if yes you can simply merge the EM object cache plugin to your plugin, i personnally use the 2 at the same time combining with minify/combine and the result is wonderfull and let the admin control correcly all the part of the optimisation :
minify/combine > object cache (file or bdd / + apach) > html/gz cache with gator = Perfect !
I prefer to do that becaus all the big caching plugin like w3 or wprocket and others are just stupidly design.

In order to improve the rendering and thus the speed and the PageSpeed score I tested “Autoptimize criticalcss.com power-up” (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/autoptimize-criticalcss/). If only Autoptimize criticalcss.com power-up runs, I have no rendering blocking and a top score. But very long loading times.
If I then switch on Gator Cache, all values fall back to “only” Gator Cache Level. The page then runs as without “Autoptimize criticalcss.com power-up”. The page loads faster again, but I have render blocking problems again and lower PageSpeed score.
Gator Cache and Autoptimize criticalcss.com power-up don’t seem compatible. What Autoptimize criticalcss.com power-up prepares/generates, Gator Cache apparently does not handle successfully. If this two plugins could be combined, the result would probably be top!
Can this be done somehow?
]]>There is a bug after installing this plugin with wordress having both Woocommerce and Autoptimize installed(and Flatsome wordpress template but i doubt it relates to theme I also noticed that disabling autoptimize is not making any improvments to solve this). It shows some pages twice (after showing page from head to its footer in middle of same page starts rendering same page another time from page logo and heading to its footer for an extra time without showing WordPress admin bar). After a couple of hours trying to debug I found this issue only occurs on cached pages executed on two devices from my tests (I tested from my android and windows) with all options “Mobile Device Caches” unchecked. I solved the problem temporary by checking “All Mobile” separate caches option but I’m not sure if this is a good temporary solution. (Also my site is https and automatically redirects http requests to their https equivalent so my all caches are getting located at /gator_cache/[email protected]/ subfolder)

I get a 500 (Internal Server Error) when I try to add a new post. When I remove Gator Cache there’s no problem.
I tried flushing the cach, but I got an ‘unknown xhr error’.

The filter creates new url paramenters ie ?pa_colour=red but this url with the “?pa_colour=red” at the end does not get cached
Does anyone know how to enable Gator cache to cache all parameter strings please?

]]>Hi guys, I can not solve this problem with gator cache. Every time I go back to admin I lose my home widgets. I’m forced to upload the backup content by ftp. Everything reappears as before. As soon as I am returning to admin the widgets disappear again from the mainpage. I tried to clear and uninstall the plugin, deleted the cache, but nothing to do.

]]>Is possible disabling chache for anonymous users?. We are looking for a cache system for an intranet, that means any other person who is not logged wouldn’t be able to access.
This plugin works fine to include suscribers in the cache control but we can’t see any other option to disable it for users without a role.
In summary, only the suscribers role must be serve with cache. Is this possible?

we are running a multisite installation with several subdomains. We are using really simple SSL to include all content into https:// until a few days everything running without problems. Now we receive a unsecure message in firefox when gator cache is active and SSL is not running on our sites. when deactivating gator cache SSL is running normal without warn message from firefox.
Something strange is that if I clear the cache for first load page is shown as secure, after a reload pages are shown as unsecure.

In most of my projects I advise my customers to use the more compact editor’s account preventing input errors. The ability to clear site’s cache would be handy though.
