My experience attempting to evaluate this plugin:
Once the plugin is activated, the Deactivate link disappears, as well as the checkbox that allows plugins to be selected, and uninstalled… OK, this sucks… let’s try finishing the setup completely and then removing it. The installation process forces you to create an account in order to show the “Privacy Safe Seal”… great.
After registering on data443 twice: at data443.com and at their atlassian site, still no luck. I hope their support team responds promptly.
The setup process is overly complicated when your site does not store any Personal Information as it forces you to setup forms and processes to manage users’ deletion requests.
IMHO this plugin should not be made available until the plugin follows the established uninstall processes. This is the last time I try anything from data443.com, they have horrible business practices.

I love this plugin.
It is a great help writing the privacy policy, I had to make only a few changes and add ons to the draft. Further with the privacy tools, I have fantastic tool to comply to the GDPR rules. With the privacy tool the user can easily ask to export or delete his/her data and I can easily fulfill the request.
The plugin is easy to use.
It also has some extra add on plugins for the most common form plugins.
Last but not least it is for free and it has a great support. They reacted within a couple days to my question.

I’ve tested various GDPR plugins, and the GDPR Framework was definitely the best in my opinion. You’ve got a privacy policy template generated for you with a setup wizard, a cookies notice popup (which you can customize from the admin side), a page to manage users data, both on front and back end, plus more options and a lot of information on their website, and all of this for FREE. Thanks a lot for the contribution!

GDPR compliance is a complicated matter. Definitely not something you want to wing by yourself. And definitely not something you want to ignore.
The obvious solution is a plugin that guides you through the process of making your site compliant. This plugin is the easiest and most comprehensive attempt that I have found so far.
It has a wizard that walks you through the setup and lots of options you can configure afterward. It even builds a page where users can download and delete their personal data. It’s written by developers for developers, so you can customize just about everything.
In today’s world, you’d expect to pay a hefty annual subscription for something like this. But the developers are providing it for free. All they’re asking is a five-star review, and I’m happy to give it to them. Thanks guys!

I haven’t fully tested this plug-in, but so far so good and covers many GDPR related issues. The GDPR guide on the developers website is great too. If there was also a terms & conditions generator this would be an almost all-in-one solution.

Update just completely crashed site (front and back). Had to remove plugin via FTP to regain access.

The ability to remove a user’s data from a website is priceless. This is the only plugin I have seen which offers this option. That is why I use it.
One suggestion is to make a youtube video or make it clearer in the instructions how to add the policy page to the menu. Other plugins do it automatically so I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out why there was no privacy policy on my site after I finished the setup…then I added a footer menu to include the page and voila…presto chango it appeared …a little late but all there.

The latest update made this plugin worthless – and that’s a shame. Everything worked just fine until now.
The problem? A pop-up has been added without ANY options to turn it off, style it or change the layout! The pop-up is way too big on a mobile. And ifyou don’t agree with the text or the layout, you are screwed.
A very bad choice. Uninstalled!

I love this plugin but cannot use it yet because it doesn’t integrate with Akismet or with Jetpack. Once these issues are fixed, I will gladly reload this plugin onto my site. It’s the most thorough one out there and yet is still easy to implement.
The two stars are strictly for the lack of integration with Jetpack and Akismet. And I will happily edit my review once this is solved.

I think it is a great plugin and especially useful for developers. I love it! It is good now for 4 stars but I give you a 5 star in the hope that the promised additions will come soon and work as great as what has been already developed.
Keep on going. And, if possible, get an GDPR compatiple solution with CFDB at github, the older version (not more on WP right now) -> https://github.com/mdsimpson/contact-form-7-to-database-extension . That DB plugin is the best that ever has been developed. There are similar ones out there, but they are not as good IMHO.
