This would be a very fine plugin rated a straight 5 – if the plugin wouldn’t have critical bugs:

The plugin looses all previously entered geodata if a post gets autosaved or after beeing edited in quickedit mode.

Both bugs were posted to the support forum a long time ago (one even with a working solution) but the plugin doesn’t seem to be maintained anymore.

The only thing that is seems to be missing is that when autosaving a post, the Geo location I set to that post seems to be lost. It could be a WP problem that the posts meta data is not saved on autosave.

Still working fine with 3.9.2 (5 stars)

Hi.
This plugin works, but no ability to generate shortcode with selected parameters, or settings page to save predefined template…

I like it but there is a bug needs fixing.

GeoTag.php line 305 – the shortcodeHandler function needs to import the global $post or the query doesn’t know the post id and fails.
function shortcodeHandler($attrs) {
global $wpdb;
global $post;

After that it appears to work…

Also now appears to integrate with wp mobile apps so you can geotag when you post and have it put on a map.
