I wonder if this plugin is still developed.
Mainwp says it’s outdated – would be nice to have a new version…
Thanks!
]]>Hello,
when I add the hcaptcha Plugin to my form, alle Entries are not shown in the Preiview.
Please, delete the Request. On the Site where I add the form all entries are visible.
]]>It seems users can bypass the hcaptcha but just not clicking it and the form still goes through even though it says required.
Any ideas why this is working like that?
Hi,
Hcaptcha for Gravity Forms extension generate a W3C error: using a label on a hidden type field.
Can you fix this error?
Have a nice day
Hello,
Would it be possible for you to tag versions of the plugin in the www.ads-software.com SVN as recommended in the Plugin Handbook? https://developer.www.ads-software.com/plugins/wordpress-org/how-to-use-subversion/#always-tag-releases
This will make the “Download” link at https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/gf-hcaptcha/ be a stable versioned link, as well as enable downloading of previous versions under the plugin’s “Advanced View” at https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/gf-hcaptcha/advanced/, and provide stable downloads to people using https://wpackagist.org to manage a WordPress site via Composer.
Thanks,
Sam
Hi there, I was wondering if there is a similar function, hook or method to detect when hCaptcha has been rendered on the form like there is for reCaptcha within Gravity forms. (gform_post_recaptcha_render).
I have a custom script I ran for reCaptcha that slightly modified the output to make it WCAG 2.1 compatible and I’d like to do the same here.
Any help would be appreciated!
]]>Hello,
Thank you for developing this plugin, it is a great help for my website. However, I tried to implement it on a multi-page form, with the hCaptcha on the very first page.
It does not fail when I change pages, but sadly, it fails at the very end when I click on the “submit” button. I think it is because it tries two times to “verify” the CAPTCHA (with a POST request on https://hcaptcha.com/siteverify).
Do you know if there is any way to fix this, please?
Thank you for everything,
Best regards,
I have a contact form in the footer of my site that uses invisible hCaptcha via this plugin while also having another page where there’s an in-page contact form that also uses invisible hCaptcha. However, I found this actually prevented one of the forms from displaying properly (it seems to be left as display:none; which I’ve read means it failed conditional logic check [even though the form is straightforward… so it might just be some other JS related error causing this in general.])
One example I have is https://www.raceforthespacecr.org/application/ where the main form on the page would never output if both that & the form in the footer were both using the invisible display mode via this plugin.
As an aside, it appears to not break when one/both of them were using the checkbox mode. However, I’d like to avoid the checkbox field showing for design purposes (and I’d imagine this should be possible.)
I’ve switched over to Gravity Forms’ built-in reCAPTCHA for invisible captcha on both forms and it’s working perfectly fine. I would like to be able to switch back to using this plugin and/or use it for future sites that have this scenario come up & have it without issue.
]]>Hi there,
awesome plugin!
It would be great if support for the standard Gravity Forms ‘Field Label Visibility’ setting would be added as a lot of users might want to hide the label on the front end.
Kind regards,
Menno
Hi,
I’ve been searching to no avail for a way to provide the captcha in German with one form and in English with another form.
Is this possible at all, and if yes, how is it done?
Looking forward to learn.
Best,
Lukas
Hello,
Your great plugin, thank you for it is not fully translatable because a Stable version is not ready.
Could you please tag it as explain in this link https://wp-info.org/tools/checkplugini18n.php?slug=gf-hcaptcha ?
Thank you
]]>Hello,
The key labels caused a bit of confusion today and maybe you can consider removing the word “Global” from “Global site key” on the “Global hCaptcha settings”.
In the context of the settings page, the global site key on the settings screen is the site specific hcaptcha key and I think the “global” refers to the fact that this key is global in the Gravity Forms context.
Changing this could potentially save someone a lot of time and avoid mixing up the keys ??
Thanks
]]>Hi
Having an issue where even if the hCaptcha has been verified, the form won’t submit because it still says the hCaptcha field is required.
Using Gravity Forms 2.5.10
Any ideas?
Thanks
]]>Hello!
I’m switching from reCaptcha with Gravity Forms to use Hcaptcha instead with this plugin. I signed up for an Hcaptcha account and created a site to get the unique sitekey. I put the global key and sitekey in the main Gravity Forms settings for Hcaptcha and also put the sitekey in the box when adding the Hcaptcha field to the form. But when visiting the page on my site, it says “missing sitekey” in the browser console. This is a MacOS using Safari / Google Chrome. Please advise, thanks!
]]>Beste,
Jochem
]]>Thanks for this plugin!
It’s a nice addition to the existing GF addons.
Why do I have to add the sitekey everytime I use the hCaptcha field?
Isn’t it more efficient to add it as a setting in the hCaptcha setting?
I am seeing,
hCaptcha has failed to initialize. Please see the developer tools console for more information.
I have checked browser console but there is nothing there to do with hCaptcha. Have you seen this error or know why it could be happening?
The plugin does not seem to request a site key, why is this?
