I am receiving the following error between PayPal and my website following processing of a payment. It appears that my cart is sending information to PayPal to process payment however is not able to communicate back:

Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mysql_real_escape_string()

My log file is showing the following fatal error:

PayPal is showing a 404 error.

Any suggestions or help you can provide would be appreciated.

And another question, could checkout without the need for a method of payment, simply choose the product and leave the name and email as buyers as well work for a list of wedding gifts.

On the registry wish list there is an area for a custom gift item and amount. The text reads, partially: “Please note that you will have the chance to update quantities or add additional notes and wishes later.” However, I don’t ever see a comments field during the checkout process – not on the cart page or anywhere on PayPal. How can this be included? Thanks!

After a user completes checks out – making the purchase through PayPal and then returning to the site – the cart does not clear. I’m still seeing the items that were placed in the cart and gifted. Should these be clearing, leaving an empty cart after successful gifting?

I updated to 4.0 on 9/20/2014 and everything was working fine before that. After the update Paypal began sending me IPN error message (404).

Is there a way to make the wish list privet and to have more then one wish list. so my clients can have a privet wish list just for each client.

When a guest purchases a gift from our registry, the plugin does not update the number / quantitiy fulfilled on the page.

any ideas how I can fix this?

Hi,
I was wanting to make a gift registry for our upcoming wedding – but a few of the gifts will be free – Is there an option of not putting a price on somethings – such as surprise homemade presents –
The plugin wont let us put in $0.00 into the price section –
Or is there another plugin we should be using??

I sent you a message thru this contact page 3 days ago an haven’t heard back from you.
https://www.OurCelebratedMoments.com gift regisrty – when you click any of the Gift It! buttons nothing happens – there doesn’t appear to be any link for it to follow and nothing is added to the cart.
Everything has been set up on the PayPal end as per your instructions.
I have deactivated ALL other plugins with no affect. I changed the Theme from Suffusion to Twenty Twelve with no affect.

I just installed this on my Product Review site running WordPress 3.4.1 to test.
The Gift it! button STILL DOESN’T link to anything OR add anything to the cart.
I noticed it installed these four pages that it DIDN’T install on the WordPress 3.5.1 site:
Products Page
– Checkout
– Transaction Results
– Your Account

is there a way to reorder the gift items?

They currently list in the order in which they were created, i’d like to change the order that they are displayed. Is this ordered by an auto id that can be changed?
