I love this plugin. It has been great for our wedding website. However, to get v2.0 working on 4.4 I had to make some updates to the IPN code. I am sure this is because PayPal has changed something since this was released and development was stopped. The changes that I had to make to get this working was:

This is exactly what my fiancee and I were looking for. We are an older couple getting married and we don’t need the standard pots, pans and glassware. We haven’t released this to the public yet but I hope it will perform as well as the setup has been. I will know more later.

Installed this on a WordPress 3.1 site for my upcoming wedding. Installed just fine, setup was easy, and the documentation was good. You have to pay $13.95 to register the plugin and get an activation key, and Paypal will take a fee from each transaction (about 3%), but it works great!
The look can be modified using a style sheet, and setting up the Paypal end was pretty straight-forward.
Some of our guests are older and less experienced with computers, and they managed to send us gifts easily.
I really liked being able to link to descriptions of the items you’re requesting, and being able to break up the prices into whatever blocks you want.

The Gift It! button never links in either 3.4.1 OR 3.5.1 and nothing is added to the Cart.
Install did not create all pages in WP 3.5.1. Install created 4 more pages in 3.4.1.
