I’m looking for a plugin that will automatically detect the users location and display a map and directions to our store from thier location. Will this plugin do this? How do I get it to automatically figure out where the user’s location is?

When I’m trying to look for the distance I’m getting this error message ‘This page can’t load Google Maps correctly’ and there is no map shown in the square where the map should be.

Will the possibility to add a google api key be added in an update or is this plugin no longer being updated and should we look for an alternative?

We currently get 2 error notices in the browser console ->

If there is any change this is being update, that would be nice but would appreciate a message if it isn’t being updated any more, so I can look for an alternative.

does anyone know how to modify this plugin for returning a fare cost?
simple as that:from A to B the distance is 142km,and the cost for the fare,shipping etc is 142*2$=248$.

Thanks for this plugin. It is working very well for me. I wanted the change the default zoom and add a pin at the map center location. In mk-google-directions.php, I changed line 64 to say "zoom: 16". At line 69 I inserted the following:

var marker = new google.maps.Marker( {
		  position: chicago,
		  map: map,
		  title: 'Business Name'
          })

If I was going to change the code and make it generally available, I would make the initial zoom a configuration option and I would add a configuration field for the pin title and only place the pin if the title wasn’t blank.

I have installed and configured the plug in.
But the “Origin” address always starts from Australia eventhough I set the Lat, Long, and Start locations.
I like to have an ability to set the origin to start from near a specific point. Please let me know if that is doable.

– translation of button “get direction” is not translated (at least in French.)

The Google Map Direct works fine it just has error in loading image specifically the loading image.

I have fixed it on my end.

Hi there, great pluggin.

I would like to the origin to be fixed as my shop and allow the user to input their destination in order to calculate the mileage between the two places. I really don’t need anything else. Is this possible with this plggin?

It would help to show my customers a mileage charge to their location?

Directions for IE 8 are not working. I have tested using firefox, IE 9, and Chrome. All but IE 8 work.
