Do you have a version of this that would allow guest posting on a popup for a location? I need my users to be able to enter an address, streetview go there and then the user comment on the location. If you don’t have this are you able to modify it for me?

Since we moved our site from http to https we get mixed-content warning due to the plugin generating https://maps.google.com urls.
I worked around the issue by editing fwgm-shrt-code.php, replacing https://maps.google.com with https://maps.google.com in the $map_url assignment.
I think it would make sense to have the plugin use https by default to avoid this potential issue for other users and since Google Maps will anyway redirect the http request to https.

Loved using this plugin so far but today i have noticed its no longer working for me. I want to know if its just me, or has this happened to anyone else?

Ive not done anything to the website to have caused this. It worked fine yesterday.

I have added nearly 70 maps to my website with this plugin and dont want to loose the work or change to another plugin before trying to resolve this issue.

Plugin works great. The lightbox border, however, is smaller than the actual map on the right and bottom sides. In other words, the black border doesn’t contain the map on all sides. Any idea how to fix?

Hi, recently decided to switch my maps over to use a lightbox effect so ichoose to use your plugin for the job.

On the whole its a nice plugin, nice and simple to use and simple to configure.

The only issue i have is the fact you cant seem to add the co-ordinates and written text in the map bubble, which does seem to be possible with the other map plugins ive used.

I want to add the co-ordinates and underneath id like the written address. Ive tried a few times using slightly different approaches but each time it seems the text effects the location and it doesnt work.

I previously used “Comprehensive Google Map by Alexander Zagniotov” and he has 2 boxes, one box for the co-ordinates and one box for ext within the bubble on the map which is what im looking for with your plugin.

I hope there an easy way around this so i can continue to use your plugin.

Any advice for you or anyone on th forum would be appreciated, thank you all for your time.

When trying to add a new map it does not work. Please update. After putting in the new map name nothing is added to the table of maps. the DIV.show-message.updated is just a thin line with no content.

There is a small white box about 10 by 10 pixels that overlays all the page’s content when I use this plugin. I can’t click on this box to identify it by inspecting the elements and I’m not even sure it’s an actual html element. I’ve never seen anything quite like it. None of the elements in the code seem to correspond to it although the hidden map that opens when I click the image of the map is exactly below and to the right of this box (but invisible – I know from hovering over the html in Chrome’s Developer tools).

This box does not appear in IE, Firefox or Opera. Does anybody know what this could be?

The first 2 times I click on the map the lightbox opens fine and the marker is in the center. Any more and the marker is off the screen to the left. Any ideas how I can fix?

Hi.
You have created a great plugin and i am hoping i can use it my new site which i am creating.
I am using the enfold theme and there are a few problems. It works on another theme so i know the plugin works.
The shortcode or widget will not open a lightbox. The map appears but when you click on it it will not open a lightbox. I think the css on the theme is blocking it.
If it does open it’s behind other images.
Do you have any ideas. Thank you.
