Hey,
anyone still using this plugin with PHP 7.x and the most recent CMB2 library (2.6.0)?
We found that after replacing the cmb2 lib, adding new markers will replace the last existing markers in the list. currently there are 37 items in the markers list.
apparently, this must be some incompatibility with the current cmb2 version and I suppose is due to some JS not correctly mapping/parsing the existing markers data.
Has anyone solved this already?
]]>Embedded within this now-unsupported plugin is an out-of-date version of CMB2 (which provides developers with easy custom fields). More recent version of CMB2 have fixed their compatibility with PHP 7.2, which many WordPress hosting providers are forcing an update to recently.
Easy fix: Install the CMB2 plugin from the repository. This overrides the out-of-date version that is embedded in this plugin and fixes the error.
I am not with the company who originally created this plugin, I’m just trying to put in one place the solution to this problem that many of us are now facing.
]]>We have made the decision to sunset Maps Builder and Maps Builder Pro. While we have enjoyed providing users with a very visual way to build Google Maps in WordPress, our company priorities have shifted and we do not feel able to provide the top-quality support and development for this plugin that we know it needs and deserves, and our company is known for providing with our other plugins.
For now, the Free and Pro plugins have been made publicly available on Github.
FREE Plugin:
https://github.com/impress-org/google-maps-builder
Pro Plugin:

NOTE: Because there is a lot of overlap between the free and pro plugins, they are connected as composer modules, so just downloading the ZIP from the repo will NOT result in an actionable plugin. Developers can follow our detailed walkthrough of how to build each plugin here:
https://github.com/impress-org/google-maps-builder/wiki/Development-Environments
We encourage other plugin authors to fork the plugin, rebrand, and have success. It’s a great plugin and the users love it.

]]>Hello, a client is having an issue with their site. When they go into the backend of the site, and click to either edit or add a new map via the Map Builder plugin, the map isn’t showing up on the backend. The map displays properly on the actual site page, though.
When I inspect element, I get a few errors. The link should take you to an image of the issue.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

The user documentation for Map Builder Pro seems to have disappeared. Does anyone have a link, pdf, or other way to get the user documentation?

]]>Hello,

But it doesn’t work. In console i’ve two warning:

]]>Hi all,
For my client’s site https://melknowswheretogo.nl I am using the pro version of maps builder.
Recently we have problems with the location finder in the posts. It gives the
“This page can’t load Google Maps correctly.”
message, and the console says
“You must use an API key to authenticate each request to Google Maps Platform APIs. For additional information, please refer to https://g.co/dev/maps-no-account For more information on authentication and Google Maps JavaScript API services please see: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key”.
However, we cannot tackle the problem because the maps-area itself seem to connect OK. Also another plugin using maps, Events manager, connects ok on the same key. If we de-install the EM plugin, the problem stays the same. We also tested with other themes, without any other plugins etc. Can you please give us some assistence?

]]>Hi there,
I’m using the free version of the plugin, and I used to be able to modify or add pins to my map but somehow I have access to nothing when I click edit on my map.
I used the Health Check plugin. Deactivated every plugin and tried and yet nothing.
Here’s a screenshot of what I get:

]]>Hi, I’m having trouble with getting my Google Maps API key to work with your plugin on a client’s site as a test, BUT, it does work on my own site.
Here’s a screenshot – https://snag.gy/Pz947I.jpg -with map image “for development purposes only”. There’s a Google error on the backend in WP>Pages as well “This page can’t load Google Maps correctly”.. I can’t view the map there.
I’ve researched a bit and see there can be conflicts with WordPress that cause an API key not to work. The developer thinks there’s an issue with my key due to the recent Google policy to require a billing credit card for this API, but I’ve gone through the steps to address this – and as I mentioned my API does work with your plugin when tested on my own site.
Would you be able to provide some WP theme/plugin conflict resolution steps for us? I can provide my API key too if needed to test.

When I’m trying to add new map on WordPress 4.9.7 I get this message in browser console.
To fix this you need to remove ‘true’ from
wp_register_script( 'google-maps-builder-admin-qtip', $js_plugins . 'jquery.qtip' . $suffix . '.js', array( 'jquery' ), GMB_VERSION, true );
when I delete location(pin) from map it set the last added location as undefined and when I added new it also set new location(pin) as undefined. https://prntscr.com/k23otm

Hi there,
Recently the map on our contact page stopped showing up whatsoever in most browsers/situations. On Chrome it has an issue where a gray bar will appear over portions of the map, and also a strange array of street view icons show up extra large off to the right of the map.
Any suggestions would be apprecaited.
Thank you!

I have had a problem adding pins to my map. Currently, I am at 84 with multiple attempts to add pins after that, but no luck. Any idea what the issue us? I tried to deactivate and reactivate the plugin, but no dice and I am up to date as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
]]>I have been using Maps Builder for the better part of 2 years, I add pins for each hike that I do. Suddenly, over the weekend, the page stopped displaying on the public side. I am also not able to add pins on the map. This is extremely frustrating since this page hosts over 80 pins that are manually added. Happy to provide more information, but looking to resolve this problem. From a site perspective, I have not updated the theme or any major parts of the site. I have had a similar issue in the past and was forced to recreate the map from scratch, do not want to have to do that again.
Thank you in advance.
