Hi Alex,
Everything works fine on this plugin and I’ve installed it on my site. Just 1 query, do the comments on the plugin get indexed on Google? And if I migrate to some other plugin, will the comments stay?

I’ve been searching for a plugin that integrates comments from when people share a link to a page on Google+ for ages. (Most “Google+ integration” plugins allow you to comment using your account, but don’t pull in discussions that occur on G+ itself.)
This plugin works perfectly and I’m very happy. Thanks Alex!
The one (tiny) quibble I’d have is that the iframe the G+ comments are hosted in is tall – 600px – even when there aren’t enough comments to fill it. If you have normal WordPress or Jetpack comments enabled on the page as well, people might not spot them since they have to scroll through a lot of empty space to get there. It is probably hard to fix, but would be great if possible.
However, since this is the only plugin offering this functionality, and it does it well, 5 stars.

This module creates a hidden back link on your site, the visibility of the back link is set to none so you will not know it is there. This is against Google Spam policies so I turned the site in for search spam.

This plugin merely stacks Google+ comments over WordPress comments, which ultimately does not add value to ones website. It creates two, distinct areas for comments and assumes users will know to scroll down. For a fee, the developer offers tabbed output, which is more user friendly, but requires bloggers to switch to another theme. This free version is even less impressive and constitutes a rather ugly way to implement Google+ comments.

This plugin works flawlessly with v3.8.1, within the limitations imposed by Google. We tested several others and decided this was the best-in-show. Unfortunately, we probably won’t continue to allow G+ commenting on our site, because of the very limited manner in which Google allows the site-to-G+ interface – none of the plugins are able to allow editing or deletion of comments (or included links) that are abusive or spammy. If we decide to stick with G+ comments, however, it’ll definitely be with this plugin.

I love this plugin! Easy to use, it actually tracks all the comments and discussion threads on Google+ about your blog, and publishes them as comments on your site. Great for engaging with Google+ users, and also for additional social proof of your blog posts.
Started using this for my new blog at https://startupgap.com/category/blog/, and I get more comments on Google+ than I do in my own comment section, so this is definitely a boost for a new site to look so active right away.
Thanks Alex!

This plugin has added a great deal of community interaction to my blog. It has worked seamlessly and been trouble-free. My only wish is for a way to get alerts when a post is commented on.

Installed this on our blog and it does what it needs to. Very happy!

Hello,
I’ve tried the 3 others plugins.
Maybe there’s some conflict with JS files with other plugins installed but none of them where working properly.
It was impossible to post a comment to G+ or if it works the comment was lost (or not saved) on my website.
What could be great would be to connect other social networks (linkedin, twitter) to let visitors spread the content on a larger scale or simply in adding the “BUFFERAPP” button (or suggest to people to create an account overthere ??
