I am currently running WordPress version 4.7.2 on my own server. I disabled WordFence Security plugin version 6.3.2, before I went into manage ads in the Google Adsense Plugin version 1.2.1. I added my ads where I needed to add them and checked to see if they were working. Everything works fine. I then proceeded to turn WordFence Security Plugin back on and everything still worked fine.
I have no other issues with the plugin. The interface for dropping adds is basic. None of the ads you make in your Google Adsense account can be chosen.

The plugin doesn′t work; it may display ads for mobile sites, but when trying to adjust settings for the ads, it doesn′t show options. Last update of the plugin a very long ago…

Didn’t insert the ads, and even if it did, the placement options are basically nonexistent. Completely useless plugin. Easy Adsense works at least.

Are you sure this is developed by google?
Damn I never seen google develop such a lame software.

I set it up, and the code just doesn’t get entered onto my website.
I resorted to manually inserting the code and my adsense account become available almost immediately.

This plugin has me pulling my hair out. I open it , verify successfully only to go back and redo it all over again. HTML file uploaded to my site and left it there but still get an error saying the website does not belong to me ?

Fatal.

BE SURE YOU DISABLE “Automated Mobile Ads.” That causes this plugin to insert ads all over the place — literally between every single paragraph on my site on mobile phones, completely ignoring the rules I’d defined.
When that’s disabled, it seems to adhere correctly to my rules and placement, but when it’s on, look-out… Your site becomes Google’s.

I’ve had AdSense ads running on my unsecured single page Google domain website for months, but I’m still waiting for ads to start running on my secure multi page WordPress site. My wordpress site receives many more visitors every day than does my Google domain site. I’m missing out on the majority of my potential ad revenue. And by AdSense not approving my WordPress site, Google is missing out on that revenue as well! I was under the impression that once you have and AdSense approved site, it’s simple to add a second.
I guess that’s not the case.
Waiting impatiently.

It’s Broken and needs to be updated for the new version of WordPress

I recently delete this plugin and apply ads by using any other plugin and my server response time is reduced from 1.6 seconds to 0.89 second

Worst plugin ever! With it installed, pages load 4 x slower than without as I measured.
It is also the least flexible ad placement plugin I have used. It wants to place the adds where it will take attention away from your content.
Stay away from this one!

I’ve been using this for the last few days. So far so great, however Adsense doesn’t put ads in every post in the home page. It only lets me add three.
Would be great if I can get that to all the posts.

This plugin gets your ads on the worst spots that don’t convert and only annoys your visitors. This plugin is like air pollution but for your site to suffocate your users.
And you’re still wondering why people like ad-blockers? Keep guessing…

Recently Google Adsense has removed 3 ad per page Policy but plugin is still show warning that one of your page show more than 3 ads. This should be fixed.
Every thing ok with plugin. Nice plugin.

Hello,
I used Google publisher plugin few days back. It is showing errors. After few changes in my blog, working good. But the problem is when I click the point it creates one new responsive ad in my Adsense account. Not able to use already created ad units. The plugin needs some update. remaining is good.

Pathetic, Google

Always show when open the ad integration manager: “Oops. Something went wrong. Please try again.”
NOT WORKING!! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!

The lack of development on this plugin should tell you just how much Google cares about WordPress. It provides very little manual control over placement of ads on a page, which should be the first order of business. Nine times out of ten it won’t save a configuration, and when it does, it scrambles pages or doesn’t serve ads. Truly one of the worst WordPress plugins out there.

A waste of time. Not working. Not saving. No support. No nothing. Nice try though, but useless.

I spend most of my time trying to fix it instead of content for my site.

i enjoy the simplicity of the plugin but the dev’s at google need to update it with new features and enhance the existing. cannot have link units, if link units present it limits the number of ad blocks. no control of the size of the ad blocks either.

Terrible… just terrible. Used to work perfectly but no updates, no markers, custom markers not visible in plugin, basically useless!

wow this plugin is horrible. Google plays as a saint in front of us saying don’t harm the user experience of those who visit our site, but this plugin ruins the user experience by putting ads on everywhere and turning our site into some ugly one. also I put ads yesterday, and today they gone suddenly. I dunno what happened to them, I can’t even edit the place where to put, the plugin decides where to put ads. meaning you have absolutely no control over the plugin. I can’t even make it compatible with cloudflare through this plugin, then I put ads again, so it made another dozens of ads instead of reusing the existing one. sometimes I can’t even put ads, but the ad manager says we have ads on the site, the plugin has to be deleted and reinstalled to make it works, then when we apply ads again, it makes another dozens of ads in the adsense account. so we end having a ton of useless unused ads in adsense account. can’t even delete them. this is horrible. one of worst plugin I have ever seen in here. there are plenty of individuals here who develop outstanding plugins, but google as a company with billions of revenue can’t develop a simple quality plugin.so obviously 1 star is deserved for this plugin. and the worst thing is there is no support. there are plenty of people in here who actively support their plugin, but I have never seen a SINGLE google employee who supports their products in here. I dunno what they do with all that billions of money they earn.

after using https o my site, my adsense only show 2 ads with this plugin. when i try manage again using ad manager to show 3 ads again, always says “Oops. Something went wrong. Please try again.”
and how about matched content placement? cause i don’t seen matched content option for this plugin. when i add matched content code manualy on my site, this plugin always detect my ads slots it’s over then 3 placement.

I’ve had Google Adsense now for a couple of months and the Automated Mobile Ads still isn’t working. Every time I try to Use Automated Mobile Ads I get the “Something went wrong. Please try again”. Never works. ??

Another Google designed flop.
Slows down my site and half the time doesn’t even work. Don’t waste your time with this. Not unless you want to lose money. It really should be withdrawn from WordPress so people don’t use it.
