Upon activation of the Goon plugin you will be redirected to the Overview page.
That page (an any other Goon specific page in the wp-admin area) will already have every other plugin blocked for faster performance.
It is possible that your site gets broken at this point, but don’t get discouraged!
First of all, your site did not get broken at all, only on Goon specific pages – all other pages will continue to work as they were prior to activation of this plugin.
The reason you might encounter such an error is poor coding practice.
For example, your theme might be using one of the core WooCommerce functions without checking if WooCommerce is enabled or if such a function exists and is defined.
The solution:
You should go to the Plugins page /wp-admin/plugins.php and there you’ll find a new column added by Goon.
You can use the checkmarks to exclude any of the plugins from being blocked by Goon.
Clicking on the Column header will include/exclude all the plugins at once and one of the tactics would be to exclude all of them and then trying to include one by one while refreshing the page with the critical error to identify which plugin is causing the issue.
Once identified, you can leave that plugin permanently excluded from blocking.
It says with capital characters, FREE! Why is Freemius included when it’s free?
