Hi! I just inserted to shortcode into the blog post. But how to do if I want the share buttons as default on all blog posts. Is there a code snippet to copy. and paste into a Generate PRess hook? Really can not understand the instructions.

I have installed GP Social Share and it appears that it can only be hooked into a ‘content’ area of a blog post. How do I go about defining social-share icons for individual pages, and front page separately?

I am getting this error in Query Monitor:

I have installed GP Social Share and like to translate it to finnish in my site. Loco Translate plugin notifies: “This bundle isn’t fully configured, so we don’t know what the following files are for. Click the setup tab to complete the bundle configuration.” And Setup-page notifies: ” Partially configured bundle. This bundle’s configuration has been automatically detected, but isn’t fully complete.” “If you have trouble translating this bundle, consider asking the author for help”

I’d like to translate it, so what I can do?

please add FLIPBOARD to the list of social options but do you perhaps have a workaround to add this in until you do? Flipboard has become a big part of publishers social networks so it is important to include it as a sharing option

Love the plugin because it’s simple and lightweight, how would you suggest that I permanently get rid of “Check out this awesome post by xxxx” before the email link? I’ve found it in the plugin code and edited it to change it to “Check out this important article”, but when the plugin is updated, I’ll have to do it again.

It’s also displaying a page author which is NOT visible on the site (nor should it be, as all posts are made by one person (me), who is usually not the author) so I’ve set that option to “off” – but again, this is in the plugin CODE and will have to be changed again when the plugin gets updated. I use this plugin on quite a few sites – this will get tedious fast.

Any way you can add it to the options/settings? Or is there something I can put in Code Snippets (the plugin) to effect the changes permanently? It really isn’t very professional to be sounding like a Valley Girl circa 1985… ?? And not everyone will clue into the fact that they can change the text in their own email before they send it, so better to have something acceptable from the get go.

We have a strange one where the text for twitter share, or part of it, displays to the left of the twitter share icon:

This is new and only started yesterday.

The Twitter icon is replaced with Text in Preview mode.

It will be great if you include the css for rtl support, it is really simple, it will save me (and surly others) the manual addition of these lines on any site they use your plugin:

This plugin works fine on POSTS, but is entirely BROKEN if you try to use the shortcode on PAGES. I was told about this and tried it on a page to verify and sure enough – add it to a page and you get a 503 error (one that never resolves). I had to deactivate the plugin in order to be able to edit the page and remove the shortcode. This is the issue that others have reported (not terribly clearly) in the previous thread. It’s been several weeks now and there has been no response. Is this going to be FIXED??? It doesn’t bode well for the future of this very nice plugin if something as serious as this bug is not attended to promptly. ?? Please respond.

I had your plugin before 1.5 and it was everything I need. It was perfect.

Then after updating to 1.5 I had errors.

Now with 2.0 the pages that has shortcode doesn’t load.

I wish I could help but I don’t know nothing about plugin creation and development.

Do you intend to get a version that works or could you give us the last stable version?

Since i updated to the latest version the shortcode breaks every single post page. The other pages are working fine.

Hello, I am here to repeat what has been said by others earlier. Updating the plugin broke my site, and when attempting to roll back using WP Rollback, no earlier version was detected (something related to how the plugin is developed).

It looks like your latest update is causing a Fatal Error which takes the site down. The error is:

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class 'RWMB_Update_Option' not found in .../wp-content/plugins/gp-social-share-svg/inc/metabox/meta-box/inc/loader.php:105

I hope you can get that fixed soon. For the meantime, the plugin stays deactivated.

Any chance adding the instagram icon to the list?
I think it can replace the Google+ Icon since that social network has been retired.
Also, a few cool addons I thought about:
1. Add checkboxes next to services you wanted not to display / turn off.
2. Similar to adding the code via the functions.php file for a new service. how about creating a UI in the plugin’s screen to add that service via a few input boxes.
