Please advise.
Hi there,
We want GTM code on our website for one of the landing pages. But as per German law, GTM should work when the user accepts the cookies but we have installed the borlabs plugin for cookies and we need that gravitate event tracking plugin but it should work when the user accepts the cookies.
So, can we do it? If we install the gravitate event tracking, will it work or will it create conflict with the borlabs plugin?
Please let us know.

I’ve adjusted my Theme’s jQuery setting, so that it loads in the footer, instead of the

. However, your plugin seems to load the event tracking jQuery before the actual jQuery theme file. Thus, it causes the events to fail, since jQuery is not yet defined.
Could you consider adding an option to push your own jQuery further down, so it loads AFTER the actual jQuery script file? Is there a PHP snippet I could implement to give yours a different order/priority?
Otherwise, we’ll need to use a more up-to-date plugin.

Take below as an example:

What should I put in the field of “Selector / Element” in order to track the no. of clicks of the button “Submit Enquiry”?
Thanks.

Hi i’m trying to create an ‘on mouse click’ event for a 3rd party sign up form. The image in the link below shows a screen shot of the buttons css etc.

The link below here shows an image of the current gravitate event tracking setup for this event (the bottom one) but it’s not showing any events on my analytics when i click the button. Please can you tell me what to put in the Selector / Element column for this to work?
https://www.dropbox.com/s/wfsuddlk0yqh9f6/support2.PNG?dl=0
I’m not sure why, but the custom events I created (e.g., based on element IDs and classes) don’t work anymore. They are added to the footer via your plugin:

But aren’t being triggered. Do these need to come after jQuery file?

Is there a delay before the events appear in Analytics as once I login there, I go to Behaviour > Events > Overview and there’s nohing to be seen.
Under Events Category it just says “There is no data for this view.”

I am attempting to add a Custom Tracking Event for Phone Tracking. When I add the Event the plugin responds “Error Saving your Events. Please try again.”
The default Custom Tracking Events will report Real Time Events in Google Analytics (e.g. pdf downloads, scrolling, etc). However, it doesn’t appear I can add Custom Tracking Events and save them. For example, I’m trying to add a Phone Tracking Event. I’ve added this Event to several other WordPress sites, no problem.
Could it be a Plugin conflict? WordPress version issue?
Any insight and help is greatly appreciated. Love the plugin!

I added a custom event
Title: Social
Selector/Element: fusion-icon-facebook
Category: Links
Action: On Mouse Click / View
Label: Social_view_{facebook}
I must have done something wrong. I can see the on click event comping though, but it only shows as a link.
What I am attempting to accomplish is that when someone clicks the social links in the header of the page, it will log an event that tells me they clicked on a social icon and which one.
The inspect element for the facebook icon shows:
a class=”fusion-social-network-icon fusion-tooltip fusion-facebook fusion-icon-facebook gtrackexternal” style=”color:#3bb3c2;” target=”_blank” href=”https://www.facebook.com/thesitesfacebook” data-placement=”bottom” data-title=”” data-toggle=”tooltip” title=”” data-original-title=”Facebook” aria-describedby=”tooltip741922″>

Are regexes (of any variety) allowed to be used for identifying the selector? I am having issues using them.
Specifically I am trying to track clicks to our social sharing buttons on our site. Since the referring URL is captured in each link dynamically by the social platform, I am struggling to create unique events for each platform (e.g. a ‘Twitter’ event. The action would be ‘Share’ and the Label would be the URL of the page).
Thanks in advance for any help!

since Yoast′s Analytics Plugin changed the function “ga” to “__gatracker” this plugin doesn′t work with Yoast′s.
Look here: https://github.com/Yoast/google-analytics-for-wordpress/commit/bcd70a62e1670516246244d67ef7f3dc505342e3
So please add the functionality to look for the “__gatracker” function if “ga” is not found.
Thx a lot,
