I recently started using the Grids plugin for WordPress and I’m thoroughly impressed with its capabilities. The layout builder feature is extremely easy to use, and allows you to create custom page layouts in just a few clicks. The drag-and-drop interface is intuitive and the real-time preview feature is a game changer.
What I really appreciate about Grids is the level of customization it offers. You can easily adjust the width and height of columns and rows, add padding and margins, and even customize the background color and image. The plugin also includes a wide range of pre-designed layouts and templates to choose from, which is great for getting started quickly.
Another key feature of Grids is its responsive design capabilities. You can easily adjust the layout for different screen sizes and devices, ensuring that your content looks great on any screen.
I highly recommend the Grids plugin for anyone looking for a powerful and user-friendly layout builder for WordPress. It’s a great tool for creating custom pages and layouts, and offers a high level of flexibility and customization options.

The plugin is amazing. Although it would be great to be able to select different custom grids for tablet and smartphone breakpoints as well.

Outstanding! Just now getting used to it, but I have found no real issues with it. The only problem I see is that there’s some compatibility issues with my theme ARK. When I do adjustments to font or colors they don’t take and just stick with default. That’s not really a big problem for me. There are simple work-arounds. Outside of that this plugin is one of the best I’ve ever used.

This utility plugin is amazing. This should be the core feature in Gutenberg. Amaze to see this plugin is free. One request i have to add a global option for spacing, margin and padding for all devices.
Thanks.

There is so much repetition of Gutenberg blocks out there, while this really addresses something new and nails it ??
This brings CSS Grid to the Gutenberg newbees, while still offering enough flexibility for those that would normally build it from scratch ??
Thank you and hoping to see more in the future.

I am very happy with this plugin. I have tried a number of different layout and column plugins. Most of the time they come with lots of other blocks (which I don’t need).
I just need to be able to add a section and columns. This plugin does exactly that. No unnecessary features.
Two minor grumbles.
One, you have to manually type in the margin and padding numbers. I can live with that though as it gets you to think more as to what value you need. Still, if the ability to scroll through the px number value were added I would not complain.
Two, there is no ability to declare the html element names, such as Section, Article, Aside, etc. Adding this feature would be nice as it would enable us to define the different parts of our pages.
All in all, very impressed with this plugin. 5 stars.

Very easy to customize sections. I hope this is for free 4ever.

Gutenberg kind of sucks, this makes it better.

2 things make a great plugin – the plugin it self, and the people behind it. The people behind it are awesome, and even though the plugin can be “weird” to use sometimes when you have too many boxes invading each others space, the plugin by itself is pretty cool itself.
Believe it or not, I found out about this plugin from Matt’s presentation during WordCamp US 2019 if I’m not mistaken.
Keep up the good work guys.

This plugin makes it much easier to create complex page designs.
Many thanks to your developer, keep up the great work.

Been using this plugin for less than 5 minutes, and it’s everything Gutenberg is missing! Wauv, amazing job!
Edit* I’m back 7 months later, and this is seriously one of the best plugins I’ve ever switched to. ACF and Grids are the two essential plugins I use for every single project. Grids make Gutenberg sooo much better.

Grids compliments the core Gutenberg blocks beautifully.

A clean and easy-to-use plugin to manage grid layouts and create really complex pages/posts in a very friendly way and in a really short time.

It’s amazing what this tool can do. It allows to have full control of the layout of each individual block. It’s perfect for composing complex page structures using only the block editor and CSS grid. It allows to work on the design of each post in real time, very useful! Thanks!

Thanks to Evolve guys for this project, currently the only block that really transforms Gutenberg from a content editor to a layout manager: great idea!

This is the plugin I always wanted/needed. It only adds minimal stuff to the dom unlike some other layout plugins, it’s easy to use, and it works as described.
Also, this plugin actually makes use of CSS Grid Layout. Many other “Grid Layout” plugins I’ve tried use a bunch of Javascript and abolute positioning etc… yuck.
The only thing I’d like to see added, is an option for grid-gap. Currently the only way to space things out is with margin/padding, unless you manually add grid-gap to the parent element in your theme.
Edit: I just saw that there’s a page-wide horizontal gutter setting, but to accomplish the gutters, it adds padding to the child elements and negative margin to the parent element. And it’s only horizontal. Grid-row-gap and grid-column-gap would be preferable.
Still, this is a top plugin and I hope gets some traction. I’ll probably end up using it on all future sites!

Congratulations and thanks! Gorgeous work!

Most WP Grids focus on Post-lists or Galleries etc.
This plugin just gives a Layout Grid as a Gutenberg Block similar to Columns plugin.
I miss some Global settings for spacing/gutters (you can do it locally, but I don’t really wanna rely on my editor to keep consistent spacing), but despite that it’s a early one I’ll stick to it. I promise it a great futur ??
1.1.1 Fixed some Edit UI bugs 20min after my first test ??
Try it out!
