I really like the Grou Random Image Widget plugin but need the images to open using the lightbox plugin i have installed. The classcode I use for static images is “cboxModal” … is there a way to add this to the slideshow so the images will open in ligthbox and not in a new window?

Thanks!

]]>Hi there,
I’m using this widget, but is it me or does the widget not loop?
I have 3 images in a folder, and after those images have been rotated it just stops at the last photo.
A basic setting of an image rotator is that it should rotate in a circle. Or am I wrong on this one?
I love your widget because it let me choose a folder outside WP. Would be great if this situation I have could get fixed.
Thanks !

]]>Hi all, I just installed Grou on my blog https://coffeeandirony.org/ and it’s not showing up in my Settings or anywhere in my dashboard. It does show up under my “installed plugins” but I can’t get to options from there, it just takes me straight to the php editor of course. It’s very strange because every single other one of my plugins does show up and I’m able to adjust its options.
I’m also confused about the path for the images – do I need to create a folder in my media library? How would I do that?

]]>I installed the plugin and got it working for the most part. Every few pages loaded the plugin places a “._” in front of the images url and shows a broken image link. For example: region.jpg turns into ._region.jpg and shows a broken image link. Any idea what’s going on?

]]>I installed the plugin and set the image path to a directory in my WP installation. The plugin displays the header text I set, but no images. I tried a path outside the WP installation, and that didn’t work either.
]]>This is a great idea for a plugin. The problem that I am having is that I specify a folder with 2 JPGs, both 238x175px, and I set the width and height the same in the plugin, check “fixed size” and when I display the page, it just sits there with the spinning dots and never shows an image. I tried enabling and disabling “Picture Aspect” – no change.
Great idea, doesn’t seem to work at all in WP 3.1 (not MU)
]]>Had this issue in 3.0.4 as well.
https://www.warriorproducts.com has 3 widgets on the homepage, all grou widgets displaying images from 3 different directories
The images are exactly 300×200 and normally they have a 10pixel buffer around all 4 sides. For some reason the widget space isn’t stretching far enough and the widgets are overlapping the footer area of the page.
If I turn the max height up to 220, the widget area ends up being large enough, but the images align bottom instead of center.
It wasn’t doing this a week ago, so I am very stumped.
]]>Does anyone know how I can set a specific URL link for each individual image? I need to be able to link to sponsor websites.
Thanks
]]>Good afternoon. We implemented this into https://www.reviewsbyjessewave.com/ and would like, instead of having it open in a full-sized new window, it open into a smaller, fixed size window of say, 250×350. Can this be easily done, and where and how?
Thank you.

]]>I have installed the “Grou Random Image Widget” in a WP 3.0.1 Multisite environment and activated it for a single Site. After integration and adaption of the widget-element and copying images to a new subdir i get an error message on the position of the website where the images should be shown: “Error Loading /wp-content/plugins/grou-random-image-widget/festplakate/plakat01.png”. The directory is right and interestingly the image name “plakat01.png” is detected correctly.
Looks like an rights problem – but all users have read access to the directory and images.
Any idea?
