Thanks for the great plugin. I notice that when sending an individual email (e.g. navigate to a contact detail page and click Send Email -> Compose), the “From” address defaults to the current user’s email address that’s stored in their profile. On my site, though, most of the time that is an offsite email address that my server does not have permission to use (e.g. it is a gmail.com address). Is this something I can change? I’d like to be able to set each user’s default “From” address to something other than their profile address.

In my case, for example, jsmith is our president, and it would make sense for him to send mail from [email protected] instead of his personal [email protected]; but it doesn’t make sense to change his profile email address because he’s only president for a 2-year term after which he’d still want to use his account even though it wouldn’t be associated with [email protected].

Alternatively, if Groundhogg could simply recognize that the profile address is offsite and exclude that as a valid “From” address, and default to a generic “From” address (e.g. [email protected]) that would make sense too.

I am currently using another CRM plugin and am trying out yours with a view to switching. Is this possible and how. I have a custom login/registration widget on site which assigns users 3 different roles on selection. I want to create a funnel that waits 1 minute before assigning a new user registration to 1 of 3 lists list, it works this way in my other crm. Is this possible and how with your plugin?

I have a question.

Is there a way to reduce plugin-notification load to once every day.

In order to optimize wp, I disabled external requests. And now it tries to load it on every page when I am logged in.

It was trying to load it twice per page.

1st — in ‘admin_print_styles’.

2nd — in do_action(‘wp_after_admin_bar_render’)

I managed to remove 2nd by removing groundhogg from admin bar. In settings — misc tab. (Thanks for having that option)

Here is how 1st one called.

Is there a way to reduce number of checks to 1 per day even if it was not successfully loaded for couple days or weeks?

ps: other plugins also load latest news/notifications from ther website. But they are not trying it too hard to load it on every page when last try failed.

Suggestion: it might be better to load notification inside cronjob, ajax or internal rest api. (In order to not slow down page generation of wordpress admin interface). Best solution I think once per day cron job.

Migrated the site and something broke during the transfer.

When submitting a funnel form, it looks like json is parsing some html. Not sure what I’ve done. it was working fine before.

Before, the email optin funnel form was showing the error “Sorry, you do not have permission to make REST API requests.” upon form submittal. See images below

I want to be able to send Birthday messages to my subscribers on their Birthday, by 1am Local Time.

1.) To create a Subscription Form, is there the possibility of adding an Image Field— so that my Subscribers can add their Picture?

2.) In the Birthday Automation Email, can I pull the Subscriber’s Image into the Email Body— so that the Subscriber’s Picture is in the body of the Birthday Email?

Earlier this year I worked on a website for a company I was employed with. I was given flexibility over how I wanted to manage customers, and I opted for Groundhogg with three of the premium addons. I can confirm that they functioned brilliantly for the intended purposes. ??

However, I have since stopped working with the company, and thus have no further need for these addons. I recall that upon purchase, these were stated to be renewed annually. Is this correct, and will you be attempting to auto-bill me upon the renewal date next year?

The problem here is that I used a company email address to sign up, but the payment came from my personal bank account. Whilst I think Groundhogg is a great product, in this instance I am naturally keen to cancel any future payments for these particular licenses.

After many months passing since I departed the company, and without access to my company email account that I used to sign up to Groundhogg with, I can no longer login to your site to cancel these subscriptions. Password reminders are of no help here as I can’t access the email account they are sent to.

Please could you let me know how we could best resolve this, or if we could perhaps cancel the subscription from your end? It would be great if there was an email address to contact you with on your website rather than posting here, but the only support option I could see on your site was the paid support subscription (which I couldn’t even login to pay for even if I wanted to!)

Clearly, if there is no auto-bill function in place and it is just a case of the licenses expiring = premium features no longer working on the plugin, then there is nothing we need to do. But if I am due to be charged on the renewal date, then I would like to cancel this please.

Currently, Groundhogg is not covered by Thrive Automator. I guess most users will prefer using Thrive Themes products like Apprentice, Leads & Quizbuilder in conjunction with FluentCRM, MailPoet etc. Would be great if you submit Groundhogg as a new app to cover by Thrive Automator ??

Is it possible to remove / hide the Unsubscribe link and wording in the email footer on the email.

The reason I want to remove it is that I am using the plugin for a membership site and I want to send information based emails to users of the site and I don’t want to give them the option to unsubscribe as it is not applicable for its use.

I am looking for a way to change the font-size and linespacing of the text int he body of the email. Is this possible?

On the Contact edit page, I am able to insert existing tags into the tag box. Upon Save, there is a popup notice saying the update was successful, but the tags do not get added. The tag_relationships table is not updated.

Is it possible to create a user from Groundhogg? In the tests that I did it creates only the contact (and it works very well for that), but I would like to take the opportunity to create a user for this contact automatically (subscriber). Is it possible using the Groundhogg free version?

I did another test, used Forminator to generate a “user registration” form and then set up a funnel on Groundhogg to add the “Confirmed” tag (as the user already confirmed by email when he registered), however, it doesn’t work. As I understand it, I have to make the user confirm, once for the registration (WordPress) and once for the contact (Groundhogg), is that it? Is it possible to reduce it to just 1 email?

When creating a message (email) we can choose the owner of the list. Is it possible to disable one of the administrators in this “From” field (The Contact’s Owner)?

Thanks for the plugin!

We don’t want to use contact owners and we just left these unselected and didn’t set a primary contact owner. When emails went out they went out from the website rather than any user.

Since 2.3 new signups are having an owner assigned but I don’t believe we have changed any settings. Is it still possible to not use contact owners?

I created 2 funnels:
– The first one I created only with the email field and it is working very well.
– The second, I created based on the “Webinar Registration” model.

This second model uses the “Wait Till” step and the error appears: “No Date Timer settings were found. This may be because you disabled an add-on that used this type of step.”

I deactivated all plugins to test but the error continued. How can I fix this?

Using the resend to unopened in the broadcasts section is failing. This has worked before so everything is set up correctly.

Your documentation says to use SES access keys from a user with both SES full access permissions and SNS full access permissions. You can only check the SES box or the SNS box when grating permissions to a user. You can’t do both. The Groundhogg screenshot shows one field for access key ID and one field for secret access key ID. Which user’s keys should I enter? One is for SES and another is for SNS. Thanks.

One of my sites has a WP installation for the / directory and another for the /blog/ subdirectory. Is there a way to integrate the two? I made that site before it was common to install WP once and then choose the /blog/ homepage in Settings. Also, whenever I start a modular membership program for that website, that will end up in a new subdirectory, too.

Question #2 I probably know the answer to this one already: If your Groundhogg plan includes 3 websites, do your / and /blog/ installations count as 2 websites or one?

Question 3: Can you create tags and segments based on URL query strings like ?Facebook-Ad-for-Legless-Dogs?
