Great Plugin. Please Keep Developing It

Although this plugin offers exactly what we need, we haven’t been able to edit any current posts with it. It gives a blank post page instead. I strongly hope Arunas Liuiza would continue developing it. I am more than willing to purchase a pro version of it.

The best markdown editing experience in WordPress to date. As already mentioned having media support would put the icing on the cake. Echoing everyone else I do hope you continue developing the plugin.

Congratulations. I’m not a Ghost user so I can’t judge how this gets WordPress UX closer to it or not. But I do like the experience of editing posts and pages this way. The UI is fluid and intuitive. I would, however, break the similarities between Categories and Tags’ icons, they’re identical.
I do miss an “add media” interface, but I suppose you’re working on it ??
Great work!

Great work man. The plugin is very clean and I like the way it flows. After using it for just a few minutes, I can see endless possibilities with it even beyond the scope of what the plugin was intended to be used for. Keep pumping out great stuff like this.

after a quick look at this I think its very impressive and would love to see where itcould go. I think an open aspect of wordpress missing currently is an “open admin api” that would allow developers to create admin panels more efficiently.
Gust, and the design of Ghost offers an undeniably better writing experience, I’m particularly a fan of the post list and preview layout as well as its the clean flat style and think you’ve done a great job so far.
Nice one.

Thank you for creating this plugin – I tested it today and found that it works just as advertised. I’m glad that the Gust dashboard links are easier to find now.

It’s just great. I hope better WP Media support will be added for images in the future. But it’s just the best way to blog there is. Markdown makes things so much quicker. Plus this 2-pane implementation, with the live preview is just amazing. I highly recommend this plugin and hope development will continue and that it will grow and improve with time (though it’s pretty great already). I posted more details on how I feel about it on my personal blog.

To the best of my knowledge, the markdown input and the html “baked” output are always synchronized, wether you update a post using Gust or the standard editor.
I point the idea above because it is what made me think about using or not using this plugin, as it really takes the ghost editing spirit into WP ??

Great idea and great plugin. But greetings from the coding hell. Extremely.
I would not use this version in a production environment. I take a look inside the code and the first thing I see, that the plugin does not use activation- or deactivation hooks. So it checks with every single request the PHP version and if permalinks are used. Doh!
Requiring PHP5.3 but did not use namespaces? WTF??
Maybe I give it another try in version 1.0.

I love the look and feel of Ghost but could never fully commit – this is the perfect middle ground. As a beta product there are still some bugs, but they’re surprisingly few and far between. Would love/ Can’t wait for more Ghost features to show up in Gust should the developer have the time, such as the dashboard, even if it was just restyling the default vanilla wordpress dashboard.
All in all, an interesting feat – and to be honest, I think a better use for the Ghost design/ philosophy than a full conversion to a new blogging platform all together. Gust is the perfect middle ground, and I hope Gust’s developer continues forward with it.
