This Plugin has not been supported throughout 2024. Fine for the free version, but unacceptable for the paid ones which they are still selling (Pro & Expert). My Licence no longer works and they do not respond to me tickets or messages. Soooo, basically this is a scam!

I am trying for 10 minutes now just to reactivate my Pro-Account. Its with an Email-Address which is not my pages admin email and Gutenslider makes a big fuss about it. That should not even interest you!
The silder blocks by itself are good. But such a unnecessary stupid restore procedure makes it unlikely that I renew the licence.

Great when it’s working but that’s not often, constantly loses the license key so I have to keep re entering that. Old sliders become uneditable after updates so you basically have to redo them from scratch. Just more trouble than it’s worth really. Shame….plus I paid for it so now I feel kinda cheated. No response from support either, so you’re on your own.
I have a slider at the top of my front page that I can’t edit, just can’t adjust the images etc. Thre back end is completely broken.

Gutenslider provided me with a ton of configurable options, and I had a great time using it. I had a problem as I was building the slider. I was able to make it work in the preview mode of the Gutenberg editor, but not in live mode. On Monday, I received a helpful response to a support question I had submitted over the weekend. It was discovered that the issue was due to a conflict with another plug-in that was conducting JavaScript minification. My slider now operates perfectly.

In the Gutenberg editor’s preview mode, I was able to make it function, but not in live mode. A useful response to a support issue I sent over the weekend was ready for me on Monday. A super easy plugin when it comes to slideshows.
I tried several but this is the only one that served my needs and allowed me to add hyperlinks to other pages in my website.
I knew it could be done but hadn’t a clue how to. I had watched a tutorial: it showed a feature I couldn’t find. So I posted my problem on this forum and got an answer in minutes. Literally. Needless to say, it was the perfect instruction for the new release (they even offered to record a new screencast!).
I now have a nice, smooth slideshow on my home page, with links to 4 category pages.
Excellent free plugin and great support. Thank you again.

I am working on converting my site to a theme with support for Full Site Editing, and I needed to find a good content slider block, a block that would support any kind of blocks on any of the slides. I needed to combine slides with combinations of photos, text, and videos. I tried several content slider block plugins and settled on Gutenslider because it both met my requirements and turned out to be the easiest to use.
Gutenslider worked very well and provided me with a lot of configurable options. In building the slider, I encountered a problem. I was able to get it to work in preview mode from the Gutenberg editor, but not live. I submitted a support ticket over the weekend and had a helpful response waiting for me Monday morning. It turned out to be a conflict with another plug-in that was doing JavaScript minification. My slider is now working beautifully.

The Gutenberg Slider is really a great slider that works! Out the gate the free version does what it needs to do in helping your site look good. It is easy to install and very easy to use. Very intuitive. Kudos to the team responsible for bringing us this plugin to the WordPress world.

i really like the plugin. You can create and edit your slider just in place. IMHO this works very intuitive and is typical for gutenberg. if you complain about the usage then complain about gutenberg at all. this is how gutenberg works. Besides that you have a load of settings to pick from. i stick to free version for now because pro version is ridiculous expensive for a slider plugin if you want more than 10 sites running pro version.

As the tag claims, this is the only slider you might need for your wordpress website. Although it has it’s flaws, needs additional css now and then. But overall, the support received and the experience has been good. Thanks for this piece of work. ??
