Quick question,

I can see that a random id is given as h5p_subcontent_id to each questions within the h5p quiz.

For example, if a quiz has 5 questions in it, i can that the program assigns a

https://mydomain.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=h5p_embed&id=%5Bh5p_id%5D?subContentId=%5Brandom_id_1%5D

https://mydomain.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=h5p_embed&id=%5Bh5p_id%5D?subContentId=%5Brandom_id_2%5D …. so on till 5.

Instead of the random id, Is there a way to capture the number and the title of the each question like below. so that we can easily find out which question the user got it right or wrong.

I am just playing with H5P and this plugin for the first time, and I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong. I have a couple of test content pieces I’ve created, and I installed the plugin to see if I can capture the statements made when a result is saved. I do have a multi-site setup, and I’m testing on one of my multi-sites.

When I go to one of my test quizzes and finish, I am unable to see any results in the plugin. Am I missing a step or doing something I shouldn’t?

On my website I am using Greek text for the H5P quizzes I created. For that reason, the downloaded Excel file does not properly display the Greek characters, and instead shows special characters like “[0] ?“?1?± ???·?? ????????”.

I am assuming that something is off with the encoding of the file, but I have discovered that if I convert the downloaded .csv file to .xlsx, the characters display just fine.

So with that in mind, is there something I can do to change the default download format to .xlsx rather than .csv?

Hi and thank you for your work on this amazing plugin!

I am creating an interactive / gamified website for a client (locally for now), and I can see that all interactions with H5P are captured successfully by your plugin.

My client will be given WordPress access to be able to export the results of the participants, but I would prefer if the Excel file only had specific columns from the data table, so that it won’t get confusing for the client, who is not familiar with these sort of things.

I can see the option in WordPress to Show and Hide specific columns, but my question is: can I somehow use that to export only the specific columns I want in the Excel file?

Hello, on my site the plugin captures only data for logged out users and not for logged in users. H5P is logging results as normmal (for logged in users), but H5PxAPIkatchu is only catching for logged out. I’ve checked my user is not an Admin (it is in the Subscriber role). This was working up to a few days ago but now it isn’t. I have tried with a newly created user, and with newly created H5p content. A few days ago I had set H5PxAPIkatchu to not capture data, but I have now set it to capture again and this behaviour has happened since then. Could you please help?

i really enjoy using your PlugIn – that makes my E-Learning courses much better.
I tried to use it with the new WordPress version 6.0 – there i got the problem, that some data was no longer tracked.
My data were tracked (in Firefox, not in edge), my collegues data weren’t tracked in both of the browsers.

Do you plan to make the plugin compatible for WordPress 6.0? I would appreciate it really much!

I am unable to see question level data, specifically the object def description, choices, correct responses, result response columns for ay question activity.

I checked in the browser console and the data is getting produced, but for some reason it does not show up on the plugin page. The test user was logged into the WP site, and made sure to use the H5P check results button. I attempted on an embed page as well as the H5P Content page.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

All old content works fine. But any new H5P content is not recorded. An entry is not created in the “wp_h5pxapikatchu_object” table.

Plugin versions are new, in the H5PxAPIkatchu settings the content is enabled for recording.

Hi! after a couple days, when i try to get into the plugin to see results but an HTTP ERROR 500 appears.

Works fine 3 o 4 days, but on day 5 that error dont let me see anything, so i have to reinstall the plugin and start again (losing all the registers).

How can i fix that?

The plugin is not capturing any xAPI statement. I have an error message from the Javascript console: admin-ajax.php 500 (Internal Server Error). It seems this problem is due to my one of the WP configuration file: admin-ajax.php, according to this.

Can you confirm if that error is not related with the Plugin?

I use a flutter app which is connected to my wordpress site.
If I play a H5P quiz on desktop, everything works fine (every data is catched), but if I play to these quizs on mobile, everything will be catched except the actor ID.

Do you know what can be the cause ?

I’m trying to understand how to work efficiently with this plugin. Right now, I export the data to CSV an import to a spreadsheet. However, I’m wondering if it would be possible to connect the WordPress database to Google BigQuery for a better anaylsis.

On PHP MyAdmin, I can’t find the database the plugin stores the data in. What’s the name?

I have tried from the url of the h5p file, for example in gamipress and it registers points for me. It is not necessary to embed the shortcode in a post.

With your plugin I have to add the h5p shortcode to a post for it to register.

I use the url because I share this in google classroom directly.

Just installed the plugin and checked the tables. Very nice.
There is a little problem though. How do I retrieve the information? Mention is made of having a menu item in the main menu (backend I presume) but I see nothing.

I would appreciate some assistance. I am using version 0.44 and WP 5.4.2

After installing the H5PxAPIkatchu plugin, it can be configures under Settings menu, but there is no H5PxAPIkatchu main menu in the wordpress backend menu, therefore I cannot acces the UI for browsing results.

Due to GDPR, if I let people to create h5p content, new users with edit_h5p_contents capability can see the settings page and then, to see private information from another user.

maybe the capability required to see the plugin must be manage_h5p_libraries or another related to administrators or editors. Not the default for users.

Is there a plcan for adding external lrs integration? (like used to be in old xAPI plugin)

I installed the plugin and after submitting H5P video quiz by different users, when I go to H5PxAPIkatchu in Admin panel, the only text available there is “There is no xAPI information stored.”

I replaced the line 69 of h5pxapikatchu-listener.js with
var topWindow = ( window.H5PxAPIkatchu ) ? window : getTopWindow();

but still the same error.

error in console is:
Could not find H5PxAPIkatchu object, cannot store xAPI statements for some content.

I embedded an interactive video, but the xapi messages do not show up in the logging.

Also, in the settings page the checkboxes to activate a specific plugin are read online. Tested it on several browsers.
