When the form is submitted, the notification email and the confirmation email are being sent twice. I am not sure why that is happening. I checked the WordPress Email test and it only sends one. but whenever I use happyforms, the emails are going out twice. I tried reaching out to the support team and they ask for the xml file. Once i send it to them, they never respond. I tried talking to them multiple times but they do not respond.
]]>Hi there
We’ve noticed that we are not receiving the form submissions from the 2 contact pages on our site. We were only alerted to this fact when we had a call that someone has been trying to get in touch with us for 2 weeks now. Please can you let me know what the issue is and if there is a fix?
This was working absolutely fine previously.
Many thanks.
]]>How to intercept the form’s submit button using Happy Forms API and redirect the form to submit the details to custom PHP script that I created and saved in my website directory?
]]>in the Paragraph section I added text with a link. By default, the text is black. The problem is that my client’s website is made in black mode. I don’t see any changes in the options.
]]>The newsletter signup form on my site does not pass contact info to Sendfox.
The integration is good; I generated a new API token just to be certain, but it’s working. Happy Forms can see my Sendfox lists and I can choose the target list. The form submits successfully and I can see the saved submission in Happy Forms. However, the contact does not appear in Sendfox and is never added to the list.
I contacted Sendfox first, and they said that if Happy Forms can see the lists, then the integration is working from their end. Can anyone advise on why the contact info is not being passed? Thanks.
]]>The website is WordPress version 5.2.19, PHP version 7.1
After installing Happyforms and activating it for the network, I experience the following bug:
The plugin settings overview (URL: …/wp-admin/plugins.php) keeps redirecting me to the forms settings instead (URL: …/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=happyform).
It happens when I click on the plugins button in the left nav bar, or when I try to enter the URL …/plugins.php directly.
So effectively, I cannot access the plugins settings anymore.
I know updating to the newest versions of WordPress and so on is generally recommended, but we wanted to avoid that specifically. It’s been a reason why we wanted to try Happyforms to begin with, because it runs with older WP and PHP versions.
Is there any way to uninstall the plugin other than the backend menu?
My webdesign experience is limited.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Bobby
Patchstack has published a high-severity vulnerability that has been discovered with HappyForms: https://patchstack.com/database/vulnerability/happyforms/wordpress-happyforms-plugin-1-25-9-reflected-cross-site-scripting-xss-vulnerability?_a_id=431
It appears any non-authenticated user can exploit this and it “allows a malicious actor to inject malicious scripts, such as redirects, advertisements, and other HTML payloads into your website which will be executed when guests visit your site.”
Is there a timetable as to when the plugin will be patched?
]]>Just a question regarding HappyForms and it’s ability to pre-populate form fields using query strings. I did find a post in here that was 2 years old asking the same question and it was suggested it was something on the roadmap but I can’t find anything more recent on this.
I have a client who needs me to create a form for various packages. Essentially, they would like a user to click a CTA on their website that will take them to a form with the package input (probably a drop-down) pre-selected. Is this possible with happyforms?
Cheers

Is it my installation (using it with Flatsome and UX Builder) that there is something wrong with?
Can I do something to solve this my self or is it the major issue that I expect from this long error message?

first of all: many many thanks for the awesome product the happy-forms. Its really great to see these forms up and running. The featurelist is very promising.

]]>Hi! On Feb. 23 I received an update notice of an update to “Happyforms (free) version 1.25.1”. I didn’t check my site immediately, but noticed a few days later that it was down. Trying to visit the site resulted in this error:
Warning: require_once(/hermes/bosnacweb05/bosnacweb05/bosnacweb05al/b688/nf.ptay/public_html/number_one/wp-content/plugins/happyforms/core/helpers/helper-activation.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hermes/bosnacweb05/bosnacweb05/bosnacweb05al/b688/nf.ptay/public_html/number_one/wp-content/plugins/happyforms/happyforms.php on line 114 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/hermes/bosnacweb05/bosnacweb05/bosnacweb05al/b688/nf.ptay/public_html/number_one/wp-content/plugins/happyforms/core/helpers/helper-activation.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php’) in /hermes/bosnacweb05/bosnacweb05/bosnacweb05al/b688/nf.ptay/public_html/number_one/wp-content/plugins/happyforms/happyforms.php on line 114
On Feb. 25th I received a WordPress recovery link by email, but clicking it resulted in the same error. I contacted my provider and they disabled the happyforms plugin. My site is now back up, but customers can’t contact me. I’ve logged in to my site’s File Manager and looked at line 114 of happyforms.php, but from that I can’t tell what to look for next.
On another forum it was suggested that a hotfix was applied and that I should update the plugin, but I’m not sure how to do that. I’m not a Web developer, so any help resolving this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
]]>Buongiorno,
Grazie mille
I am setting up a new form, with a conditional drop down field for whom the person wants to contact. There are two options:
email1 and email1, email2. I always get the “form can’t be submitted” response. I have about 3 other complex forms that work fine.

Hi
I have sent an email but also sending on here as pretty desperate for a quick answer.
All of a sudden the page referral meta data is not being sent to Zapier. This is critical to our form and identifying the audience of leads.
Could you please help. Your form is not sending it to Zapier. When i conduct testing it sends all data except the page it was submitted on.
I have found 300 leads that now need to be manually updated in our CRM. please don’t tell me this is because of an update as this has happened in the past - where zapier is interrupted.
Thanks
