When I went to activate this plugin I got the following message:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wp_install_maybe_enable_pretty_permalinks() (previously declared in /home/[cpanel user name]/[WordPress Install Path]/wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php:523) in /home/[cpanel user name]/[WordPress Install Path]/wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php on line 584.
I was trying to activate plugin v3.1 on WordPress 5.4.1
]]>Excited to try this plugin out, however, it is using a boilerplate function that conflicts with other plugins, themes, etc. I believe this function listed will need to be renamed from the boilerplate name “your_plugin_options_install” to something like “hbfreshdesk_plugin_options_install” found in freshdesk.php line 44. Not sure what the other plugin is that decided to use the same boilerplate function name, obviously have not caught it until now.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wp_should_upgrade_global_tables() (previously declared in /wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php:3327) in /wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php on line 3327
PHP 7.1.x
WP Multisite 5.1
Thanks!
EDIT: There appears to be another one I have not caught yet. changing the function name for that function, including the activation hook, has not resolved this yet. Also renamed my_ajax_object localization hook to something else. The hunt continues..
