Hi, and thanks for this plugin. On one of my sites I have set it to use a custom avatar rather than the mystery man default, but your plugin always uses mystery man for Facebook signups/logins without their own avatar – looking at the plugin files I see that mystery man is actually included and referenced when the page is output (file: heateor-social-login/public/class-heateor-social-login-public.php, lines 3441 and 3442).

I have tried overwriting that file by editing the src in those lines and including it in my custom theme folder but it didn’t work, so I assume it is not possible to overwrite it. Is there some code I can put in my functions.php or some other way to deal with this? I suspect that this is either another one of those quirks of Facebook that requires you to have written the code in this way, or it’s something that has been overlooked, as it doesn’t happen with any other social login provider and is the only place you use this particular code.

Appreciate any assistance that you or other users can provide.

hi everyone , i’m having a big issue with the plugin heateor social login , i created a login widget for users to login using discord using the shortcode , i made sure to enter all the infos asked and everything was working , they detected my app but the somethime went wrong , they say the page :Page not found – Eternaments can’t be found? and it’s the redirection link proposed by heateor so why it doesn’ t exist. can you guys pls help me?

Hello, in the Developer Facebook OAuth settings I added the redirection URL, it is the same URL I also added on Heateor settings in ��Login redirection��. But we can not login with Facebook, it says: Redirect URI is not whitelisted. How can I know the exact redirection URL that Heateor uses for the login?

Currently in Heateor social login, I can’t find an option to redirect to the previous page after signing up. This is required since in my case user can select login option from the menu item which then opens a new login page. Now, if I select heateor option as “keep on the same page,” it takes the customer back to the login page even though customer is already signed in. After login, I want customer to be redirected back to the page from which login option was selected.

Is there any way to achieve this?

PHP 8.1 doesn’t have updates anymore, and security updates will end in a few months, it would be nice to fix this ??

I was wondering if this plugin can capture whether a user is a YouTube channel member for a specific channel when logging in �� I know Google requires verification of the scope (I have access to the API to pull the data).

As well, is there somewhere that the Discord @username gets stored in the database? I would like to pull this information to display somewhere on the website.

I followed your tutorial to the letter and validated all the information as required.
However, the plugin does not redirect correctly and ultimately I am not identified despite the correct configuration (I also followed your competitor’s tutorial which is more up to date: https://plugins.miniorange.com/wordpress-facebook- login).
Despite everything, the redirection is not correct and the user is not connected.

when logging in via Facebook all the steps look fine but after logging in users are redirected to a page with /#= at the end of the url and are still not logged in.

How can I fix that?

Hello, currently I have installed this plugin and enabled Line and Google. About three weeks ago after installation, the tests for login and registration were normal. How to get Line user id and email to wordpress

When I use Line to register, it cant get the user id ,picture and email.

I added social login shortcode in buddypress registration page. It broke the buddypress page structure. Then I removed it. But it is still showing the same social loin things in the page. I deleted the page and recreated but it is the same.

I configured Microsoft as the guide, but everytime I try to login I received the error message “That Microsoft account doesn’t exist. Enter a different account or create new one”, no mater the account I use.

Hi, I’m trying to setup Login/Register with Discord and it’s looks working, but when I test it, on the final step “Redirect back to my website”, the Redirect link is different.

I’m using: https://XXX/HeateorSlAuth/Discord

But when try to Register/Login, the Discord return:

And in this moment my website return Error 404

I Disable my Security plugin, because sometimes it case problems like this, but this time was not helpful.

BTW: Your Instructions and that what is in Discord dashboard at the moment are bit different, so I guess they maybe change something in the authorization process and now is not compatible with your plugin.

Any ideas?

The plugin installation and configuration is great and well explained.
However, how can I get my user address pre-filled in the WooCommerce checkout page?

We are using your plugin successfully.

How can we check if a user registered/authenticates via social login (wp-admin/user-edit.php)?
What we see is an avatar URL filled out, but this might be empty when the user disallows this information to be collected.

Another question: After a user registers with social login, can he set a password (e.g. sent with password reset link) and authenticate both with social login and password?
Or is the social login connection thereafter dropped? When yes, can they change back to a social login (how)?

Actually there’s no problem with the shortcode on the site. I’ve put it on other pages and it worked fine. However, I have a problem with the popup login of Tutor LMS plugin.
