I just installed the plugin, and the ratings and notes function on the submissions review work flow is not working. Any tips for fixing it?
]]>hey, do you have any function to submit journal/paper itself not only the abstract?
]]>I looked at my settings page and have a question about one of the choices:
What does “character set” mean in this setting choice:
Turn off HTML Cleanup
Set to yes if you accept submissions from writers that use a different character set than your own. Otherwise leave set to no.
Thank you for your help.

]]>I sent the following email to you by Windows mail on September 17 after receving an email from you that you couldn’t find my site to update my submission information. I have never heard back from you. Please help me. Thank you.
I received an email from you on Sept. 6 stating that you couldn’t reach my site to update my submission guidelines. I clicked on the link to my heypublisher page, and it states you are currently updating submission guidelines. I then clicked on the other link in your email, and my submission guidelines page came up.
However, when I go to https://www.heypublisher.com/publishers/storiesfromacottage.com, my site doesn’t come up. I get a message saying the page isn’t working.
My heypublisher plugin is working. I checked all of the options to see if they were working, and they are. I do not know what problem is causing me and you to receive the page “not working” message.
If there is something I need to do to fix this problem on the plugin, please let me know. Otherwise, thank you for figuring out the problem and updating my submission guidelines.

]]>Hello,
there’s a
“Call to a member function get_feed_permastruct() on a non-object in (…)/wp-includes/link-template.php on line 429”
error after upgrading the core and plugin on my multisite installation.
No idea how to resolve.
Yours,
Martin
Our curators often have constructive comments for the authors even when they reject a story. Is there anyway a publisher can customize the mail sent to the author after acceptance/rejection of their submissions?

]]>Currently, the slush pile allows us to either:
1. Accept
2. Reject
I propose:
3. Review
For example, in some cases, I might want to edit the story a little; trim it, spelling & grammar check & stuff like that. At such times, I would like to send the author a revised/edited document that the author can approve/reject.
If the author rejects it, s/he can choose to withdraw the story. if accepted, the revised draft can then go online instead of the original one.
tl;dr I’m looking for a versioning system for the stories submitted to enable review (cycles, if possible) – any chance you could incorporate that as one of the features in a future release? ??
]]>Firstly, thanks a zillion for this plugin. I have been trying it out for my online short-story mag for a few days now and I can already see my workload coming down by a ton!
My niggle – if it can be called that – is that I run a SHORT-STORY mag. I am open to different genres ranging from kids/under-age to religion and sci-fi, but the submissions HAVE to be short stories ONLY. All these ‘genres’ have been defined as categories on my blog. I am not looking at accepting submissions in any other forms of writing – no anthologies, non-fiction, novels, novellas – nothing except short-stories. I might expand to poetry and art work later.
Is there anyway I can use my own list of genres on the submission form as opposed to the Hey Publisher list?
Awaiting your reply. ??
Thanks again!
