Hi Team, my client needs to have their entire site protected by password except for one page. They purchased your Site Premium Expansion and Multipass add-on, but I can’t see this option anywhere. Could you advise me on how can we exclude this one specific page, please?

Unless I am logged into the back end of my site, after initially getting past the Hide My Site password page to the site’s home page, the password page pops back up every time I go to a different page on the site. Changing the duration in the plugin’s settings does nothing to help change this behavior. How do we set the plugin so that a tester doesn’t have to re-log in to see each individual page? It seems like this was a bug that you resolved some time ago but it has reappeared.

I’m getting the following entries in my debug.log when running PHP 8.2. Is this plugin not compatible with PHP 8.2? If not compatible with PHP 8.2, is it compatible with PHP 8.1 or 8.0?

Hi there,

My website has suddenly started redirecting a couple of pages back to the password page after already accessing the website via the password page.

For example, when you load the site, it takes you to the password page. Once entering the password, we are able to access the website (as we should). Once on the website there are two pages that for some strange reason when you click them from navigation, they kick you back to the password page. If you could help assist at all, then that would be great.

Hi, just installed the plugin, and it blockes all inner page with the login box but for some reason it is allowing the homepage and not blocking it.

When entering the correct password the hide my site login page just refreshes. I have tried disabling all plugins except HMS and its still happening. I am running WordPress 3.8.2.

This started happening yesterday after updating the plugin and WordPress to the latest version. On every page we visit, we need to enter the creds again.

I have a multiple network wordpress site and I’d like to make a subdomain site private with a login.

Does the Hide My Site plug able to do this.

I was in my admin plugins page and I could add password etc, but I don;t want my main site morangpools.co.nz site to be hidden.

I do want my site crew.morganpools.co.nz protects so that only crew members know of the site and can access it.

I pushed a site to live status and cannot get Hide My Site to disengage the password. I have cleared cache rename the plugin. I am stuck trying to debut a brand new website.

It seems that this plugin does NOT hide the sitemap.xml file. We had set up a test site and just assumed that the whole site was hidden from view, but the site map is available for crawling by Google, and unfortunately now the test site shows up in the google site: search results. site:mydomain
While the result of clicking a link takes you to a page-not-found-coming-soon-go-away type of message, nonetheless, the “hidden” pages are crawled.

Probably this is the fault of the Yoast SEO plugin, maybe it is somehow getting around the efforts of this plugin to hide everything.

(And when I say sitemap.xml, I mean sitemap_index.xml or whatever variation on this filename that is being generated either by WordPress or Yoast or whatever.)

Hi, thanks for a great plugin. Please could you make the plugin compatible with Oxygen Builder, as when you go into the builder to edit a page the Hide My Site prompt often appears, whereas it should only be appearing to public pages that aren’t being edited?

I’ve needed to provide the Hidemysite front end access password on various WP forums in order get tech support for those plugins, so anyone who reads the thread could gain access to my dev site.

I would like to sign up with Google Analytics to see if any of these (potential) visitors have come in and looked around. Will Google Analytics work as it normally would with Hidemysite active?

Could you please help advise me with an issue I have with your premium hidemysite plugin?

On both desktop and mobile versions of my website the login keeps appearing every time you click on the top navigation links ‘Home’ and ‘Contact’. Even if you enter the password and login again you will be prompted for the password the next time you click on either of those 2 particular buttons.

I need this working very soon as my portfolio site is being used to aid me in finding a new job in design.

I have your plugin on two sites and i can’t get the plugin to deactivate on either of them. When i deactivate the plugin the login still shows up on both sites. The sites are hosted on GoDaddy Managed WordPress. Can you please tell me how to get the plugin to deactivate and not make the site password protected any more? I’ve tried clearing the cache multiple times after deactivating the plugin and have even checked using chorme’s incognito browser window and the password is still required.

Basically I’ve written my own plugin and would like to trigger add_action BUT i’ve seen only 1 update_option() for the whole plugin.

where else can I put my own custom cache clearing function?

I see in the forum that a little over a year ago a few people reported having to re-log into the site after every page click. We just started experiencing the same thing with our website. Is there a way to remedy this?

We are using the Hide my site pro plugin on a site, and some users report that after putting in the correct password the page refreshes but not logged in.

I have tried to replicate the error but it seems to be random; not always the same browser (chrome, IE, Edge, Safari) or when cookies are/aren’t enabled.

Do you know anything that commonly causes this to happen?

I noticed that my “home”/”front” page is not being blocked on my subdomain, when I have it installed on my subdomain.

Is this intended or did I completely miss some obvious step?

Hide my site has locked me out of Safari. It is asking for a username and no username is set up. Chrome is working fine.
