Compatibility with Elementor must be ensured. The shortcode can be added to the regular text field, but it won’t work if you’re using elementor. please add Elementor Compatibility

the plugin should be updated in terms of security and wordpress 6.1.1 and php 8.2 compatibility should be improved.

This plugin hasn’t been updated for 2 years. Is it abandoned or still maintained?

Hello. I’ve installed a plugin that change the normal users roles with custom.
Example an user role could be Male role and other Female role.

So i need to hide and/or show a part of the content in a post to these and more customs roles. Does your plugin works for my need?

Hello, I am looking for a way to hide elementor header and footer theme templates from non-logged in users. I tried Dynamic Content but it seems there may be a limit to the number of items that can be hidden on a page (or something).

I found Hide This which seems to work well but I have to apply the shortcode to each separate part of the content I added.

Does anyone know if there is a way to apply the Hide This shortcode to elementor elements such as sections, columns or widgets?

we have custom roles made up which I would like to use with your plugin,

we have one called ‘Schools’ which I want to only show content on,

this is the shortcode I have used,
‘[hide for=”all” exclude=”Schools”]Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.[/hide]’

but its not working,
it works when i use ‘adminstrator’ there instead,
does it have to be the default roles for it to work?

I want everything to be hidden, including from the HTML. However, your last sentence contradicts the previous ones. After saying “try one of those”, did you forget to list other plugins as right now it continues with the plugin syntax?

I have inserted this code and it doesn’t work as i would want to.

The hiding is working, but the excluded user can’t see the content which is hidden.

Is there any solution to this problem?

Hello, I am attempting to hide content on a virtual page. There is a 3-level taxonomy, basically, and I want some text to appear on the first page but not on the subsequent 2. Since these “pages” all have the same page ID, I can’t get it to work, though it comes through to the second page just fine. I was hoping your plugin could help me hide it on the third level but I don’t know how to configure that. Any ideas?

I’m trying to protect my pages and give access only for some specific users. All work good for 1 user with this code [hide for=”all” exclude=”username:hello1″]. But when I tried to use more than 1 username [hide for=”all” exclude=”username:hello1,hello2″], only the first user (hello1 can see content, but the new user (hello2) can’t see the content of page.
I tried to change code to this [hide for=”all” exclude=”username:hello1,username:hello2″]. In this case, all people can see the content of the page even hello1 and hello2. ?How can I fix this to allow only user hello1 and hello2 see the specific content?

We’re creating a list for users to see what all cookies the site uses, and I can’t seem to find anything indicating if the Hide This plugin uses any cookies itself. Could you let me know whether or not it does, and if so list the name, purpose and duration for any cookies it uses? Thanks.

I can hide any content for any role. But i have a content and hide all members role except post author. Only post author will see that content. So how can i hide non post authors?

This plugin uses current_user to check user role, is it possible to specify a user_id in shortcode parameters? This is not to display message to a specific user, but instead plugin will check specified user_id role and then display content if role conditions are met.

Confused. where to insert this code?

May I use [hide] directly in html code? For exemple to hide a div or other element. I did not found that information anywhere.

Hello, im hiding content for different users with the id number with this shortcode: [hide for=”userid:2″] what i want to know is there a way to put more than one id in the same shortcode like this [hide for=”userid:2,3,4″], or do i have to copy and paste the same shortcode for all the users?
