]]>Hello, I see some questions on here about the plugin not working and I see that it’s been removed from WordPress. But the plugin is still working for me. Should I be concerned about the plugin being removed for security reasons? Thanks.
]]>So far the plugin has been working fine until recently, when it stopped working only in Chrome. Firefox does not show related videos, and neither does IE. This is just a Chrome issue as far as I can tell.
Please help – reembedding all the videos on our site is not something I look forwad to.
]]>Hi,
I’m trying to hide related YouTube videos on the video pop up (“Watch Video” button) on this page. Tried your plugin on another site and it works great but doesn’t work here. Any idea how to fix? Thanks for your help!
]]>Hi @sparkweb,
I just find your very useful plugin and install it. As it was supposed to work out of the box, I checked, cleared cache, test different browsers, and every time it made no change: I still get the related videos at the end of my embeded videos on my site (here is a page with an example: https://www.nicolassarrasin.com/sortir-de-la-deprime).
I use oEmbed (e.g. just insert links of the Youtube videos I embed in my site)
Thanks for your help,
Nick
HI There, this plugin worked great until I updated the latest wordpress update. Any word on when the plugin will be updated? Thanks!
]]>Hello, I installed your plugin. It works as long as I dont use lightbox. If I add media poster and use lightbox at the end of the videos it is showing related videos. Can you please help me what I am doing wrong in this…
Thank you and appreciate it alot
]]>HI – I’m using Woffice theme and “Display Embedded Video Pro” by Diego Biota to scan my site’s blog posts and display the videos that are embedded to make thumbnail galleries of videos on various pages on the site. I installed “Hide YouTube related videos” but it does not consistently block the related videos from appearing. I’ve using the oEmbed feature of WordPress to embed the video in the blog posts. Based on some of your other posts it seems that maybe because the “Display embedded video Pro” plugin is between WordPress and your plugin that that could be the reason it is not working. I’m a noob, so I am just speculating. Any ideas or easy fixes?
]]>Is this possible to also hide video title using this plugin? Lazy load for videos doing this but no longer supported and has some isssues, can you guys add this function to the future updates or tell me what i should add to the code to hide titles in all videos?
Thanks in advance.
I have uninstalled then reinstalled the plugin, but I am still getting the related videos display at the end (see https://www.werenovate.com/testyoutube )
I have also made sure that the “show related videos” feature is unchecked on the youtube video itself. I am using the Avada Theme
Please advise

]]>Hi
Thank you for the plugin
I digged inside the code and saw you unregistered the youtube default embed
Problem is I use a hook to modify the size of the embed and it is erased as well :
add_filter( 'embed_defaults', 'bigger_embed_size');
function bigger_embed_size($embed) {
return array(
'width' => 650,
'height' => 390,
);
}
I wrote some js in order to bypass it but it’s really a dirty method
Thank you for your help ??

current link in page ->

Used in the above the fold section ->

Is it only doable through the hyrv_extra_querystring_parameters filter?
If yes then how do distinguish a specific video when i have multiple videos on 1 page? the filter does not have the id in it.

I’ve activated this plugin for my website and it works good. However, I use the ?start parameter to make some videos start from a certain time point. It seems the plugin doesn’t work for them.
Is there a way to change the code so it matches this case too?

]]>Hi. I can’t seem to get this plugin to work.
I have tried to deactivate all other plugins.
Currently the code looks like this:
add_filter('oembed_result', 'hide_youtube_related_videos', 10, 3);
function hide_youtube_related_videos($source, $url, $args = array()) {
$data = preg_replace('/(youtube\.com.*)(\?feature=oembed)(.*)/', '$1?' . apply_filters("hyrv_extra_querystring_parameters", "wmode=opaque&autohide=1&") . 'rel=0$3', $source);
return $source;
}
the video code on my page is:
https://www.youtube.com/embed/xg7sptEx0Ms?feature=oembed&wmode=opaque&vq=hd720
What’s wrong?

Great plugin. Can’t seem to add parameters. I’ve disabled ALL plugins and changed my theme to Twenty Fifteen. Still no go.
Added in this code:
add_filter("hyrv_extra_querystring_parameters", "my_hyrv_extra_querystring_parameters");
function my_hyrv_extra_querystring_parameters($str) {
return "autoplay=0&cc_load_policy=0&iv_load_policy=1&loop=0&modestbranding=0&rel=0&showinfo=0&playsinline=0&autohide=1&theme=dark&color=red&wmode=opaque&vq=&controls=2&";
}
Thanks!
