Unfortunately, the plugin doesn’t support Java, Kotlin, Flutter nor XML syntax, making it completely useless for anyone in the Android development field.

I don’t normally use WP Blocks and so I could not figure out why this plugin broke for certain code syntax (PHP -> HTML -> PHP for example) and why saving sometimes broke the previously-saved syntax. Maddening. Then I switched back to the block editor. AHA! It works beautifully. That’s probably why it says “Block” in the plugin name, duh. Thank you very much for this wonderful plugin. I love that we can also upload our own prism.js files. Cool.

Being a developer takes a huge time, effort, money & sacrifice. If you’re a user of this plugin like me, do not just leave your negative feedback unless you talked to the support.

As a plugin to replace “Crayon Syntax Highlighter”, I think this plugin running on Gutenberg is the most powerful and excellent. It is also simple and easy to use.

Plugin works nicely but is lacking in highlighting for Java, Kotlin, Groovy, XML.
You might get away with using the Javascript highlighting for Java, Kotlin and Groovy code and the HTML highlighting for XML code.
But in general it seems the languages provided are aimed at front-end and mobile developers. Hope the author adds languages, or makes it easy to add your own.
