This plugin says it is good up to WP 3.5. After that is it no longer needed? Does it still work for WP 4.1?

Any chance of getting this fixed?

Now that WordPress 3.7 supports "Automatic updates for maintenance and security updates", is Hotfix still needed?
]]>Given the release of version 3.6x and the on/off discussion of implementing automatic updates into the WordPress Core are there any plans to continue development of the Hotfix plugin?

Thanks,

Does this Hotfix Plugin contain the fixes for version 3.5.1? This is stated on the Codex: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Version_3.5.1 but I cannot see that here.
I would like to know before I use this plugin to (try to) update WordPress 3.5 to 3.5.1 on a IIS7.5 server…

Thanks for your help!
Note to WP Developpers: please do something about that, it’s a bug worth to be corrected ASAP.
]]>Hi, the Hotfix plugin does not work for Save (or Update) the custom fields in custom posts. Please if you can help me. Thanks.

I cannot see the text editor buttons anymore on 3.3.1. I tried installing TinyMCE Advanced, but it didn’t fix it, neither does HotFix 0.8. Anyone else has this? if you found a fix, could you share?
Thanks!
]]>I was using google libraries to make my flyout menus work but I heard about hotfix and it seems to work as well but Im using templateer 3 for page layouts and I was wondering if you have a fix to make their accordian menus work. Since updating to 3.3 the menus are no longer clickable. Any information would be much appreciated.
]]>Nice job with this plugin! You did a great job! Thank you – It’s appreciated (as is your work on the core).
Thank you!
when activated, there is a conflict with WP Geo
https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wp-geo/
to reproduce:
add a marker to a post map
save post
edit post and change something (e.g. edit some text)
update post
map is not displayed anymore on front end
marker settings are lost
Hi Mark,
I was going to contact you via your site, but there you said
Mark is … really bad at answering e-mails
So here you got a message:
Is it possible to issue a new version of hotfix to add the missing language (.mo) files to WordPress 3.2.1?
At least for twenty-ten and twenty-eleven.
I can help you coding it, even code it by myself – I just do not want to make a fork for the plugin.
Regards,
Gabriel
Started getting php errors on the Media Screen when I did the update to 3.1.3 — plugin fixed it immediately. Thank you!
]]>I see that currently this plugin has an array of hotfixes for each specific WordPress version. I worry about the behavior of opting folks into each and every hotfix for their version instead of just the specific one that affects them, especially since a “hotfix” is released out of the normal testing and support cycle.
Personally, I think this plugin might work better if it provided a checkbox in admin to opt in to individual hotfixes for issues that affect them. Otherwise I think a lot more people are likely to enable this plugin, forget about it, and then get a lot of fixes that don’t get the usual vetting and testing.
Just my two cents, I do really like the central idea of this plugin and think it can make WordPress a lot more useful for folks with a minimal amount of updating overhead.
