Really great plugin overall, especially for being free. Lots of great stats and love the ability to track custom events. My one nitpick is I have a really difficult time viewing the heatmaps — when I click the “view heatmap” button it does nothing. I can instruct the pages manually to “draw” the heatmap, but it requires copy and pasting the drawHeatmap line after the URL.

I have no luck seeing heatmaps with this. I finally found a thing in Chrome to resize the browser window, but none of the sizes in chrome are the same so I have to set them all custom – which may be a chrome issue, but the bottom line is that even WITH the browser allegedly resized, the app shows me NO heatmaps. No hotspots at all. This is coming off of the dashboard as soon as I’m done typing and I won’t be using it again.
Help has been limited at best. My last question was 2+ days ago, still with no response. I realize it’s free – I guess I got what i paid for – nothing.

I was just called in to troubleshoot a site that was consistently crashing a client’s web server. It turns out this plugin was triggering an ajax call every 2 seconds for each connected client. Because each call was writing to the database, no caching was happening and each call was taking 400 – 500ms to process. On the client’s VPS, more than 20 or so simultaneous visitors was enough to take the server down (4GB RAM VPS).
I can only imagine the havoc this would wreak on a site with medium to high traffic!
So if you’re thinking of using this plugin, and you expect more than very light traffic, I would highly advise looking at the paid option to move the callbacks to a hosted service, or have a look at other hosted services that provide similar functionality.

Funciona perfectamente… me encantan los reportes incluso con el tama?o de la pantalla.
Aunque lo acabo de instalar, solo necesito saber cómo resetear los clicks de una URL o de todo el sitio.
La configuración es excelente, muy configurable.
Gracias!!

Really great plugin to use it for free. no monthly fees.
It took just a minute to install and worked straight.
Nice the real time heatmap.
Fair Play!

Update: This plugin is now SUPER. It has gone a long way since my initial review. Undoubtedly deserves a 5-star rating!

Would be even better if it had some sort of UI in the backend to view the heatmap instead of just modifying the URL. But overall it is fantastic and requires no messing with configurations etc.
