The Rectangular button is at bottom of my front page, “Blue in color” named (SPECIAL FORM MILLING ) it is an Intermittent problem, but problem can be repeated easily in Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge.. etc.
It was created from Horizontal general effects, the function of the button works fine, but entire button Disappears then reappears when using reload back arrow.
The disappearing button can be demonstrated by clicking on my home button at top of page while viewing the front page. Or when you already have page loaded then type the pages URL at top, Page then reloads but button at bottom becomes missing.
I possibly thought it was a theme issue but a Consulting friend with CSS Experience said the buttons code is putting in a div when it is not suppose to, and to contact the Plugin support.
Please note: this does not happen to the Square buttons that I have on the same page only the blue button on the bottom of front page.
This is all I know so far, Thank you for helping with this I’m lost

I see a few people where having issues with centering or aligning their images side be side (horizontally)instead of vertically, and I have come up with a quick fix for this issue.
What you need to do is place the images inside a table and then center align the table where you see fit.

CELL 1

CELL 2

CELL 3

CELL 4

REMEMBER – to put your 2 images in each cell. Add more columns or rows to suit your needs.
Have a look at my example:
This is a nice, easy, valuable plugin. However, by default it displays both images on top of each other. What would make better sense is to display the first image and replace/hide the fist image with the second upon mouse-over/hover. Does anyone know how to make it do that or have you used a different plugin that does just that?
This was so easy to use and works great aside from the fact that both images display and you can see the other image behind the top image.
Thanks.

First at all a big thank you for having developping this plugin, it helped me a lot! However I have a big problem with aligning image.

The result is my 3 images are vertically aligned and not horizontaly. Could help me to fix it? I have check the css i haven’t noticed anything…

Hey everyone,
plugin works like charm but if I resize the window the image width changing only the length stay the same, aka the image deforms in different screen resolution! Is there any way to avoid that? I love the plugin but if the image will be a longed pushed one it has no use.. Please if there is any solution let me know!
Huge thanks!
HI,
I love the simplicity of the code!
I am trying to replicate something I did with very convoluted code in a Dreamweaver website: https://www.smeducation-finance.com/Courses.html
My problem with the [himage ]<img 1> <img 2> [/himage] code is that
1. the hover makes the first image disappear rather than the second one appear (my preferred order)
2. this needn’t be an issue if using identical sized images (or first bigger than second) or you want both images in the same place
Are the above solvable to reach my aim with either this hover or any other that you have seen?

Hi, downloaded and installed Hover Image plug-in, works great.
I have used a mouse-over command in html to swap images, but it’s too direct . I want to keep the group of images as seen on this page and replace the “mouse over” command with the “hover image”, but no matter what I do, it doesn’t work.
Current page with on mouse over:
https://www.hirezgraphics.com/portfolio/printmedia/
Current page with on hover image:

I would keep the workings of the print media page with the hover image replacement.
Any one offer any insight?
Thanks!
Hi,
I am fairly new to WordPress and so do not have much experience with coding.
Could someone please tell me where I have to put the code and how.

Dear Julian;
Your plugin is great. I am searching for something similar, a plugin that lets the user hover over a url text, regular text, or image, and than on the right side of it an image appears. When the user hovers out, the images dissapears.
I am doing a WordPresswebsite for the company I work for. This is the website; gtecorp.com
Is there a way to modify your code to do that? I am more than happy to pay you for the creation of such a plugin.
Thank You
Hi,
I love this plugin !!
It works perfectly when I using the HTML code in a static page, but when I add it to a widget I can see the images on top of one another. I am sure that there is something REALLY basic that I am missing…
My code is:
[himage] <img class=”aligncenter size-full wp-image-42″ title=”Macedon-001″ src=”https://trailsplus.annette.name/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Macedon-001.jpg” alt=”” width=”199″ height=”149″ /><img class=”aligncenter size-full wp-image-13″ title=”Macedon” src=”https://trailsplus.annette.name/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Macedon.jpg” alt=”” width=”199″ height=”149″ /> [/himage]
What I see in the widget area is:
[himage]
image 1
image 2
[/himage]
**I can see the two pictures on top of one another.. with the hiimage text on the top and botton.
Thanks in advance !!

Hi,
I am new in using wordpress. This plugin was setup by my web designer.
he gave me this code
a.hover_img:hover img { opacity:0.6; }
If i change the opacity 0.6 to lower, it will fade brighter but not darker. I did change the figure to higher, but its doesnt change any effect.
Any idea how can I make my button hover darker?
