With the plugin activated I get this error on the public facing side, only if I’m logged in.

]]>I really liked this plugin and installed it on countless sites that I manage because it was easy to use and didn’t come with a lot of extra baggage. Well, after the latest update to 1.1.1 on August 12, 2023, it’s got a ton of horrible baggage.
Every time I go to edit a post or page, I get a full-screen popup that says “

BUY PRO
Our free version is great, but it doesn’t have all our advanced features. The best way to unlock all of the features in our plugin is by purchasing the pro version. Buy Now
A couple of days ago, I was on a deadline to make small changes to 18 pages. I can’t tell you how much “fun” it was to have this thing do a full-screen pop-up EVERY SINGLE TIME.
It’s a stealthy little bugger, too. The pop-up only lasts a second or two. The link to Buy Now doesn’t work, and clicking on it gives you a JavaScript message about possibly being offline. You can’t really do Dev Tools with it because Dev Tools brings up the page you are trying to edit, not the pop-up. The only way to find it was by looking at the source of the image, which in my case, was https://the-good-plate.com/wp-content/plugins/ht-easy-google-analytics/admin/assets/images/pro-badge.png
I appreciate that everyone has to make money and that this plugin is free. But this is ridiculous. This interferes with workflow. I had considered upgrading before the update, but now, I am considering reporting this to WordPress itself and asking them to remove the plugin completely.
If this is some kind of bug in the plugin, then you need to get rid of it and push out an update right away. If it is not a bug, and your company is not putting this in, please let me know so I can figure out what’s going on.
For what it’s worth when I deactivated the plugin, the popups immediately ceased.

]]>Hello! I’ve been using one of the other Google Analytics WP plugins for many years, but there’s no support yet for GA4. I was happy to come across your plugin ??
Although I can see the tracking code in the page source, I was hoping there would be a Dashboard widget like I’m used to, for example https://pasteboard.co/JRJXCN7.png Is that something you might offer in the future?
Regards
Melanie
Does this app bypass ad-blocking software that usually blocks GA4?
