Great plugin, is it possible to open the sharepage in a popup instead of a new tab?

I have an issue with the PIN IT button. Basically If I look at the URL in the status bar before click the button, everything seems fine. But when I do click, the media URL get encoded. Infact it changes from http%3A… to http%253A… and obviously the image is not found.

Is there any suggestion to fix this?

Hi,
I installed it today but unfortunately, can not make it work. I selected Bottom icons but every time I clicked to save, it turned off. And, so no icons are showing at all.

Hi,

I’m very happy with your easy and light plugin!
However, I’m trying to use it in an ‘EventOn’ event, and it isn’t working as expected.
The buttons appear, but when I want to share it only shares the main page, while I’ve added the shortcode in an event which has it’s own URL.

To see what I mean: website. Clicking on an event in the agenda (‘Activiteitenagenda’) you will see the share buttons appear.

Is there a way to tell the shortcode which URL it should share?

Hiya,

I’m just running an SEO Audit of a site who uses your plugin. Which, by the way is great for page load time!

However, I was wondering whether there could be an option to swap your ’empty links’ which use CSS background-image for a link with an IMG tag that show the social button with a relevant ALT attribute – e.g. alt=”Share this on Facebook”

The reason I’m asking is that it flags up as an SEO issue to have links that don’t contain either

a) anchor/link text or
b) an image inside the link with an ALT attribute

If this could be an option in your plugin (as only techies like me are likely to care) it will save me hacking your plugin to plug this!

It’s working, but it’s vertical only; I need it to have an option for horizontal. Can you add a setting for vertical or horizontal options?

Well, as it is lightweight, it doesn’t have multilingual support and has problem UI of social icons. And all used icons are hiding from right or left side when page is getting load. When we we move the cursor on these icons then these comes on right position with motions. So please help us and no need to hide on page load.

Hello,

Love this clean, simple plugin but the settings to float the buttons left, right, top or bottom are not saving.

The only option that does work is putting the shortcode into a post. The shortcode output is only to put the share buttons into a post, no other shortcode will appear for any other setting.

I would like to use the ‘float to left’ option. Am I missing something or is there a fix?

Great plugin, but I wonder: how can I disable the buttons on WooCommerce product pages? The “disable on this page” dialog is not showing up in edit mode on single products.

Also, it would be great if you could add the possibility to position the buttons anywhere you want relative to top of page, and also to be able to set the size of the buttons.

I just recently switched my site over to strict ssl and now when I check the button url it shows a 443 port directive.

eg:

any ideas as to why HTML Social Share would get the url like this?

Hi, I really like this plugin but there is just one small issue I have with it. The buttons are showing on the admin login page. It’s not really a problem, it’s just annoying and I’m sure there’s an easy fix for it.

I tried all options – left, right, before post, after post, and the widgets. Nothing is working. Using WP 4.1.1 and your plugin 2.0.6.1
Did not try the php and shortcodes.

When I chose the above post or left side option in the plugin dashboard, after saving, these settings revert to the default “No” positions.

Hello – love the simplicity of this (especially with the google analytics integration).

After I set up the plugin to show at the ‘bottom’ of posts, I see that it is adding the shortcode to multiple elements in my theme – slider, parallax section, etc. so I then tried to add the PHP directly into my custom post template but for some reason it’s not showing.

I also tried adding the shortcode to the footer and it doesn’t show anything in the area – it remains blank.

Perhaps I am implimenting wrong. Is there an email address where I can send you the URL to my site for a quick look?

First thanks, I like the simplicity and that the plugin bypasses the load that usually sharing plugins add.

But I have 2 suggestions:

1. That shadow box around the buttons, when placed in widget, is quite annoying. It would be much better if you put some neutral color (e.g.gray), rather than pink. I can override this, but still wanted to ask will the plugin be updated regarding this.

2. You provide the widget as an alternative to the floating bar. Again great, I just miss the title. Just a simple box in the widget, where we could enter something like “Share here”, “Share with friends” etc.

Hello,

your plugin works fine on Firefox.
So when i tested it on Chrome all buttons except Bookmarks on Google and Mail disappeared.
I had modified the css identifier #zmshbt to change the color background and remove in .zmshbt the box-shadow setting it to none.
Looking at he CSS computed on Chrome, the #zmshbt a identifier has declaration display:block striked out for all of the invisibles buttons.
Any idea ?
