This ticket is a negative reflection of IE10, not the plugin.
On focus, IE10 removes the placeholder text. Other browsers remove the placeholder text once the user types.
See here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/14445891/keep-placeholder-on-focus-in-ie10
Is there anyway this script can be modified to prevent IE10 from misbehaving like this?
Why, oh why, can’t IE ever get it right? It infuriates me.

]]>It would be great to see a plugin that expands on “HTML5 Placeholder Polyfill” by tackling all of HTML5 and CSS3.
A HTML5 plugin exists as “HTML5shiv for WordPress” but the author’s support ranges from flippant to non-existent.
CSS3 plugins also exist:

https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wens-ie-css3-support/
It would be great to see a plugin combine placeholder, HTML5 and CSS3 supports with a configurable options page to enable/disable either of the three.
For the plugin to be truly holistic, it could implement an outdated browser check and corresponding upgrade message for website visitors (again, plugins for this exist in the multitude).
The overall concept is a master plugin that circumvents all known issues with outdated/dreadful browsers rather than having to install four separate plugins from four separate authors. A WordPress “Browser Polyfill” of sorts.
Just a suggestion for whenever you next find yourself pondering what plugin project to undertake next.

What do I have to do get your plugin to support wp-login.php?

]]>Hello, good work right there. I have a question. I am using on my websites the <track> element which is not supported in mozzila. Does this work for <track> element? Also, if the browser already supports HTML5 and track element, does the script run? I am considered about my site speed if it has to load new script everytime. Thank you for answers

]]>Plugin worked right out of the box for ie8, but I’m not getting anything showing up in the form in ie9. Is there something else I need to manually add to get this functionality?

]]>When activating this plugin, I get this error message:
The plugin generated 2 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.
Yes, the plugin still functions, but it creates a problem logging out of WordPress and returns me to a blank white screen.
