The plugin only works in Chrome. No response after over a month to a support thread.

First impression is that the editing screen is just a big ad for other stuff from this developer. There is capability here, but its hard to use because all the real estate is occupied by ads for stuff I didn’t want.
And unlike other FAQ plugins, everything is in a single post rather than one post per FAQ. Not so good for anything other than a few simplistic FAQ’s.

It has inline css in h title. It is not good for rtl language. I cant change css easily.
FAQ categries is same with post categories and this is not good for me.

It works exactly as described. I was able to install and configure within 5 mins; no issues at all. One omission that I noticed was in the installation steps provided – there was no mention of where and how to create the FAQs and answers! Even though the “FAQ” menu was right smack in my face on the menu bar, it took a few minutes for it to click. Overall experience will be 99.9% positive. Great job, guys!!! ??

The plugin stopped working. Even tried to uninstall and reinstall it to no avail.
They don’t seem to offer any assistance, I’ve been mailing them for two weeks.

Great plugin easy to use.

Nice and easy to use, and a nice display for the end user. However there are a number of bugs or shortcomings that would be good to be addressed, but the developer seems to be silent.
Particularly, if you have a FAQ that is assigned to more than one category, if you insert multiple shortcodes on a page (one for each category), then FAQ content will only show for the first category that the FAQ appears in. For the second and subsequent categories the FAQ title will show, but the answer is blank.

Nice piece of software. I would have given 5 stars if you would change html5-responsive-faq/include/hrf-style.php line 91 from
add_action( 'wp_footer','fn_hrf_styles' );
to
add_action( 'wp_head','fn_hrf_styles' );
The reason because most WordPress themes I am using put wp_footer inside <body></body> tag, thus your plugin CSS do not pass W3C validator. My edit above will move your CSS to <head></head>, thus more desirable. Thanks!

Good FAQ plugin, responsive !!! But I can’t change the color for the titles of questions. Only black works and grey borders appear for some replies.

This plugin is working great, but I would like to see some additional options regarding customization. My theme is currently using a different font than the plugin is using, which makes everything look a bit weird. Haven’t found out yet where I can change this myself, but would love support for – for example – Google Fonts (PT Sans).

I spent my day to search, buy, test some FAQ plugins : all of them are fail! I find this one **FREE**, and … WOW ! So pro, so easy to use, so powerfull! …. And FREE! Thats really incredible! Thanks to you ??

Works fine on WP 4.4.2. The only big thing missing, hence only 4 stars, is that clicking on one faq does not collapse already open faq’s. Nice job so far, thanks.

I love this plugin it does everything I need easily and with no bulk. I strongly recommend

Plugin’s JavaScript is in the page headук and moves jQuery the same place too. There is no option to choose header or footer for JavaScript.
However inline (!) CSS is in the footer and there is no way to get rid of it completely or at least to move it to the header.
HTML5 markup is questionable and is not configurable.
There is no Uninstall feature to remove unneeded stuff from the database upon deactivation.

Thank you, it works great!
PS. But I wish I could put each FAQ in multiple categories.

It was exactly what I was looking for. It made my website FAQ page look much more pro:
It just works and yes I wouldn’t hesitate to use it again on another site.

Works and looks great on my website! Thanks for such a well done plugin.

When I upgraded some old sites that were using an outdated plugin, I searched around, and was very pleased to find a FAQ plugin that worked easily straight out of the box. And is responsive!

Works great, and I appreciate the lack of imposed styling – it slots into themes perfectly picking up the styling of the theme.
The only slight improvement for me would be to provide a setting for choosing the containing element tag for the FAQs. At the moment it defaults to <article>, which is fine, but when embedding the FAQs with the shortcode, this is being nested within an overall page article in my particular theme.
This still passes W3C validation, but just doesn’t feel semantically correct. I’d like to be able to change them to sections or divs perhaps.
Not a criticism, but hopefully useful feedback.
Thanks for a great plugin.

Having downloaded and tried numerous FAQ and Accordion Text plugins and getting really frustrated that most just didn’t look good or required lots of CSS to get them looking even passable, it was a breath of fresh air to install HTML 5 Responsive FAQ.
The settings page is simple and gives you just the flexibility you need to get the FAQs looking like the rest of your site – without having to hack into theme CSS or create child themes.
Using a custom post type to create the FAQs is genius. I can have my FAQ page just with a single shortcode then have all the FAQs automatically integrated into it as they are added. This means that my end client can add more FAQs as they arise in the same way as they’d add a blog post – no having to get complicated shortcodes right or risking messing up the FAQ page.
One enhancement I’d like to see on the settings page is the ability to set a width for the question box. It defaults to the full width of your content area which is fine if you are using the same background colour for your FAQ questions as your main content, but I’ve used reverse colouring (dark background, light text) to add some impact and it would be nice to be able to truncate the box for a better overall look.
Altogether though a great plugin that I’d highly recommend.
