Can it be embedded with a short code instead of having its now full page. I would like to embed the presentation within a page, not having it occupying all the page. Does it make sense?

Hi!
The plugin does not appear to work in 4.1 – it may just be me in which case I apologize!
The upload/insert button doesn’t appear and when I save a post I get the “oops not found page”.
Please advise.

I was wondering if you had any post or videos that explained more around how to create themes for slide shows. I figured out that including the wp_head makes the slides take on the styles of the site. But that wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. Some of my presentations have unique styles that I was looking to bring in.
Please help.
Thanks.
By The Way. LOVE the plugin. Just installed and can’t wait to start creating presentations.

Thanks for this plugin that looks to be just what I need. I have loaded the example presentation and am having a problem getting it fully working.
The first issue related to the images, but I got over this by renaming all the src= entries in slides from /wp-content/plugins/html5_slideshow_presentation/ to /wp/wp-content/plugins/html5-slideshow-presentations/ (i.e. to use the subfolder wp, “-” instead of “_” and presentations instead of presentation.
Another issue, but probably not to worry about is that I get an error message that https://localhost/css/html5-presentation.css is not found.
The issue I am asking for help on is that none of the slides with iframes display their iframe – I get the error message
Refused to display ‘https://www.ads-software.com/’ in a frame because it set ‘X-Frame-Options’ to ‘SAMEORIGIN’
. I doubt if I will use iframes when I do my own presentations but it would be nice to get the whole example presentation working. Search gives an answer to put <?php header(‘X-Frame-Options: GOFORIT’); ?> into the page, but I do not know what to do.
I am using the Suffusion theme on my WAMP.
Thanks for any help – but not to worry if it is not easy to solve.

I am investigating this software for presenting via WordPress. So far it looks great. My issue is that I have a video requirement. HTML5 video is fine as it will be a controlled audience. I have been successful in adding video, but the play functionality is odd.
Is there a way to add a option to a slide or as a global that says:
When a slide is being presented to start any video on it.
and
When a slide is moved off of to stop playing it.
It would also need to not change other options in the video such as loop.
Please let me know if you need any more info or if I can help you with this.

Hi,
We use WordPress for an intranet site, and IE 9 / 10 is configured to display all intranet sites in compatibility mode.
This causes the slideshow to be displayed like in IE 6.
Could you force the modern rendering in IE by adding

for example at line 190 of html5-presentation-template.php ?
Thanks a lot,
Fabien.

It just shows all of the text without any “building.” My site uses a child theme of Genesis. I’ve tried deactivating all other plugins but that didn’t seem to fix it. What should I try next?

First off, your plugin is outstanding. This is one of those golden plugins that the power and usefulness doesn’t really get appreciated. A lot of us are using WordPress and BuddyPress as intranet solutions and this plugin fits a niche area that was previously untapped. The ability to build and present presentations inside WP is a great feature when we look to sell these WP-based intranets to corporate clients. Having a presentation available at a hyperlink instead of some lousy, buggy and proprietary emailed powerpoint slide is so much better.
Thank you for making this!
Do you have any plans to update the slide core to the latest version that they created for 2012? https://code.google.com/p/io-2012-slides/
The feature updates they made are awesome; presenter mode and presenter notes is especially nice, among other new features.
I tried hacking the new version into your plugin but failed and pretty much broke it. I was wondering since you are already familiar with the project if you would consider updating your plugin to support the new version of the HTML slides script.

Great work. I’m really eager to start using it.

Look forward to implementing this plugin on our site. It does seem something might be awry in the html5presentation post type declaration. When also using the plugin Post Type Switcher (https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/post-type-switcher/), if i attempt to update a presentation slide, it auto switches the post type to a standard post. Post Type Switcher (as well, as other plugins … e.g. Role Scoper) are not recognizing html5presentation as a registered post type. i’ll try and mess around with the declaration a bit on my own, but this would be a great fix for future releases. Again, thanks!

I was hoping you could help in multimedia coding – the below code I entered into a test html site and it works in all browsers, including Safari, but when I place into your plugin, the play, pause and other buttons do not work for .mp4s: (please note I did not put the actual paths to my videos for privacy reasons)

Any thoughts as to why this is not working in Safari/IOS devices?
